Profile overhaul

[MVP]

I think a great feature would be a complete overhaul of our Profile pages.

 

• The ability to add a personal banner like on other social media sites such as Twitter and YouTube.
• Customize and change sections on our profile page.
• Add featured topics, posts, artwork etc.

 

These are just a few suggestions I'd like to see.

You can include these two in the about me section. Alternatively, you can post the link to your social media account on "website url" in the "contact methods" section. Also, if you have artwork that you want to exhibit, then maybe you should consider creating a topic about it in Graphics/Visual Arts.

The Forum comes with IPB3's standard profile and I don't really see a need to change it. It would also take a lot of custom work. All other things you mentioned can be easily put in your About Me section of the profile.

It's going to be a long wait for sure. I believe there's a lot of skinning work and customizations to be done on Tank's end before the forum is upgraded. Edited October 1, 2017 by Kaniel Outis
