Nutduster Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 First time I've seen a Rockstar trailer get a mixed response. Interesting. The disgruntlement with GTA Online is real. I dunno, I feel like this trailer is pretty damn good. It didn't take my breath away but I liked it. I feel like people are really poking around hard for stuff to dislike right now. I basically quit GTA Online in disgust a couple months ago, but this game still looks like it could be very good to me, at least the single player portion. Nonetheles it was f*cking fantastic. I just hope I don't die boefore that games comes out. I wasn't really blown away by the graphics either although I mostly game on PC these days so I guess for consoles they are pretty good. I think this looks stunning too but a lot of the things it's doing right are more subtle than HZD's ultra-lush forests, rugged-to-the-point-of-ridiculousness mountains, and constant "magic hour" lighting. Just kidding...called the "No John Marston" thing, uh...let's see...October 20th, 2016. And, no, that's not Dutch in this trailer. New characters all-around, just like in every subsequent GTA. YES! Can't wait! Clearly Dutch.. Morgan calls him by name. Bill Williamson and Abigail Marston are in there too. Where did you spot Bill and Abagail ? I didn't catch them. You can see Bill at 1:14. If he's truly the only playable character, I think they'll probably go the "piece of sh*t but with a little bit of a conscience" route. Just a hunch. Trevor was effective because you could switch over and play a regular human being whenever you wanted; he only made up one third of the game.
