Yeah, I know this isn't original, shut up.

 

Hey guys, I was thinking about making Contact Mission inspirations in the form of a capture and making a giant playlist... then gathering a fireteam of 8 players and attempting to clear them in the shortest time possible. Select which team picks up and carries the package to the zone (essentially who "wins") and then carry out this job. I already have about 5 CCs made (1 is trivial, 2 are easy/medium, 1 is implausible with 3 or less people) and I plan to make more, so maybe we can see about making 4 playlists of 20 jobs (maximum per list, so 80 jobs, which would probably rank you up 3 times, give out around 250k, and take around possibly 2h of playtime) and calling them Pt. 1, Pt. 2, etc. I think this would be a fun idea with a group, voice your opinions, I'd like to hear 'em :)

 

And, anyone B&Ming about how these missions suck because you can kill each other and it isn't a real Contact Mission, well GFY with love because I don't have a Mission Creator.

Reminds of the one I did a while back called Submersion. Captures in general are so underrated and it annoys me that Rockstar are basically copying original Captures and turning them into Adversary Modes. I once had a playlist with various captures making up a story. Wiped them all seeing as my creator skills had improved considerably :p

 

 

 

SUBMERSION

Submersion is a contact mission inspired capture. It requires co-operation between both teams therefore it's best played with friends. After multiple tests and fixes, it's finally complete. Of course, being a Capture it has disadvantages such as not being in the same car as the opposite team.

Description: (Co-op Capture) - I heard you're good at getting things done so listen. There's currently a Submersible owned by some professionals located at Lago Zancudo. You'll need to airlift it to the drop off at the Palmer-Taylor Power Station. Fort Zancudo is quiet at the moment, a good chance to break in and acquire a Cargobob, another thing we're after. One of you should head straight to the Submersible location and clear the area. My contact will handle the rest upon delivery.

Description: (Co-Op Capture) - We have intelligence that shows us the idiots over at Fort Zancudo are holding one of our Hydras. Raid the base and retrieve the friendly Hydra, and then bring it back to either Sandy Shores AB or Mackenzie AB. Stay wary however, because we've received reports from scouts around the base that there is heavy air support stationed at the base.

Quick update on the Wanted: Hydra job, I'm having issues accessing Imgur on my tablet, so when I'm on a PC, I'll be uploading the job snapshot (currently going to be the RSC photo, but if @REXX could shoot me a snapshot overnight of it, I'll use that instead).

You can't guarantee everyone has Free Aim on which would make things easier in avoiding player killing.

 

 

And how do you ensure a fair win/lose scenario?

Any amount of rounds you set it to (first to win 2, 3 whatever) means that one team is going to lose overall...

1. I play with friends to ensure any accidental TKs won't be ment with more TKing. On that note, you can't set it up to not lock onto other players, so it's either Free Aim or bear with it.

 

2. I often have it set to one round only, so we agree on who will "win" the co-op cap before we play to ensure no one's confused. When I play captures I often don't care about the cash prize so I give it to the player with the lowest rank (so they rank up)

I have a few captures that are made for coop on pc.

To avoid tdm gameplay I usually just flooded the area with cops (or other npcs set to respawn) to give players plenty of other things to shoot at and make sure the pick up points are separated by something.

Is it competitive or not? No. You'll be way too busy dealing with swarms of cops between your respective objectives.

Description

Heat.

It's hot, let's PvE. The cops are done having hot coffee and chit chat with the crooks. They're closing in and are coming down hard on this heist. Do what you can to get away. Blow up LSPD, shoot peds for their cars, hell, take a child hostage if you can find one. Make it back and you can haul in some good $.

 

 

This one based on Junkyard Wars is easier but also easier to get in a tdm.

Hopefully if you play them in order properly it should feel quite immersive. Obviously there are limitations but it's going well so far...

Hey, I do own a Xbox One with a silver XLive account (I use someone's gold account to play online) so I can't message. I don't own GTAV on the X1 at the moment, but I could buy it sometime, so I will get around to playing your stuff soon :lol:

Both of the playlists I bookmarked on your thread have been described in detail elsewhere on this site. I didn't include them because up until this thread there hasn't been much demand for captures.

 

The Luxor Heist is a 7 mission playlist that culminates in stealing a gold Luxor for Martin Madrazo. It's meant to be played in sequential order.

 

Heist Gone Bad is a diamond heist from a bank that goes very wrong, It involves covering tracks from the botched heist, assasinations and leaving Los Santos in order let the heat die down.

I'm just happy someone might actually play some of this created content. Hopefully you enjoy. I never put together a video but all of the missions in my playlists have detailed descriptions that would help anyone seeking to do these as a co-op to successfully complete them. All jobs in these playlists can be completed with a minimum of two players, maximum of 16.

 

 

 

@SanchoPanches: You've tried out some of the stuff I've created. What did you think? Hook a brother up with some positive advertising lol!

If you spawn in Zancudo you get an instant wanted level, pretty sure that this has been ruined by R* giving people a Hanger in Zancudo. If you own the Hangar you don't get a wanted level whilst everyone else does.

Thanks man. Much appreciated. Hey, if you'll play them I'll keep making them. I revamped the two heist playlists and the race playlist that I currently have posted. If you have any suggestions after playing them let me know. Hell, if you have an idea on a theme that you want to see in the game I'm up for trying to create a playlist around your idea. I could use some fresh ideas for new content.

 

I know you and your friends are really good using the Rockstar editor for photos and things from the photos you post on your page. Maybe we can collaborate. I'm no good at streaming video or using the editor. If you want to use any of the stuff I've created in the editor or for streaming you certainly have my permission. Thanks again.

Wandered in here after Rexxx's threads as I was reading some more stuff from the mission creator thread of his.

There might be a better solution than this but off the top of my head: At the beginning of your capture if you place an actor from one of the law enforcement categories in close proximity to your start points, set their behavior to 'aggressive' And 'hostile and set wanted levels to on that should trigger a wanted level right at the beginning. If you are forced to kill the officer at the beginning that would increase the level right away.

Probably true. But there may be a work around. If you place hostile aggressive military personnel in the base, they will attack the player and if the player engages with them they will trigger a wanted level

I think the Military/Police actors will do the job in combat jobs, you may have to set them to hostile for it to work without you attacking them first.

 

However there is no work around for races :(

In my race playlist, one of the legs of the race is a GTA capture. While you don't get point to point markers in this part of the race, you could trigger a wanted level. Again, not the most ideal solution but it's an alternative. Check out #4 In the playlist.
