Is crate missions waste of time or am I doing them wrong?

Yes crate biz waste of time do AE instead.

I like AE, GR, MC in that order. No use for others.

Buzzard and armored Kuruma are top of the priority list. Next 2 purchases if not owned.

Best buisnesses for me are import / export and gunrunners and in solo public. Pay 75K for full supplies and produce stock passively to sell in Los Santos for 210K. Delivery time can be 5 to 20 minutes. Supply price is recouped with 1 car sold. With a Buzzard and Kuruma bunker stealing supply missions are fun, not hard, and most are not long. So switching between buying and stealing will add variety.

So it is about sourcing and selling cars and vip jobs while waiting for bunker product to deliver. For serious import and export operating i very much suggest owning a Gargobob.

Crates and smugglers crates? I will not do even for double money. Crates for me is annoying. Smugglers is anti solo and anti money making designed. Smugglers supplying and deliveries are very long for very low pay. Well at least solo, maybe with a crack crew of 4 the money is good , but not solo.

The MC buisness is like the bunker. That is buy or steal supplies and wait for a product to deliver. Coke is the money maker but often has a really annoyingly slow delivery vehicle. Save this for after you made a lot doing other stuff and want something new.

I've done all businesses and the best profit for me is a combo of Bunker and IE car sales.

I only play a few hours a day 4 or 5 days a week and I've made well over 8 million in the last 2 weeks.

I tend to buy supplies for my bunker then use the time I saved to not doing 5 supply missions to source and sell cars, VIP missions in between. Can recoup the money in no time and then 2hours20 later do a solo bunker sale.

As long as you don't go above 175k worth of guns you'll definitely be able to pull off the sale solo. Anymore than that and you might start getting multiple vehicles, still doable but a pain in the arse. 1 full supply bar will make you 140k so there's a decent safety margin.

I would stick with sourcing 2 crates, not 3. 3 crates takes away a lot of money from your final warehouse sale.

A full small warehouse is worth $224,000. If you do 2 crates at a time, it will take 8 resupplies to fill it and cost $8,000 each. 8 x 8,000 = $64,000. Subtract that from the $224,000, and you have a profit of $160,000.

If you did 3 crates each, that would

Be 5.3333 resupplies to fill it, 5.3333 x $18000 is $96,000 total cost to fill it, and subtract that from a full warehouse it's $128,000 profit.

So if you're determined to just keep at the cargo sales then 2 is the way to go unless saving time is more important, but I highly suggest you look into a bunker or a hangar, or even a car warehouse.

If you need help saving for something else and are on PS4, feel free to add me and I will help you save for whatever you desire. My PSN is Dexiovi like this username.

I have one question about your presented crates strategy. How much total time does it take for you to do the 8 resupplies and the delivery for 160K profit? 160K is good money if the time to earn is 60 minutes. Not so at longer times like if the time is 90 minutes the earnings per 60 minutes drops to 107K.

For me doing crates solo is low earnings per 60 minutes while with a mix of IE, GR, Vip jobs, and Sandking sales 160K per 60 minutes is possible for me.

Yup, 2 crates at $8,000, I mean doing CEO jobs like headhunter is between $20,000 to $25,000 so take 8,000 out that and what's left is profit.

Keep doing that to finance your crates and you can make some good money.

It can take a bit, especially if you're only filling up 1 small warehouse. I used 2 small warehouses, and went back and forth filling them because there's no cooldown. I would say a little over an hour with just the one small warehouse. But honestly I don't really bother with CEO cargo anymore. I would rather spend more time doing something else for a much bigger profit, so yes it's worth it to be mixing it with other businesses.

Crates are the most effective way to level up and as long as you aren't level 130 you are not wasting your time.

Bunker and IE car sales only biz worth doing.

Others waste of time. My crate warehouses just safehouses at this time.no interest in the $5-$6m planes or war toys.

Basically had it w the pvp thing play lots invite only.

Maximum profit with crates alone: ~ 240k per hour.

This is done by...

- only sourcing 3 crates

- using buzzard helicopter

- only selling 111 crates each time

It can be a bit better with the Terrorbyte but not much.

Instead I recommend...

- source 3 crates

- then use Cargobob to steal a top range vehicle

- and use same Cargobob to sell a top range vehicle

- fill in gaps of time by sourcing another crate or vehicle

- repeat

You still make roughly 240k per hour but...

- less risk losing all your money

- able to buy other stuff instead of waiting for pay day

- can periodically buy and upgrade MC businesses that make money while you do other missions
