I got Outlast when it was available during it's time as a GWG title. As you know, games obtained with GWG can only be played if you've got a gold membership. So I've bought the Outlast bundle today since it was on sale which should give me both the base game and Whistleblower. It only downloaded Whistleblower since I still have the base game installed. Problem is, it says I own Whistleblower while the base game says I can purchase it to own it forever. That implies I don't own the base game even though the bundle should give me permanent access to both.

 

So the question is, do I actually own the base game and the marketplace is just being dumb or are they actually going to force me to buy something I already bought?

How? FCC hasn't approved it yet and none of the retailers here are allowing preorders until that happens.

Interesting. Not sure, you can try to delete Outlast and re-install it. If that don't make it playable, I'd contact M$.

So since I was without internet for a few months I couldn't get my achievements, I was under the assumption that they'd pop up whenever I connected back to the internet. That's not the case, do I have to open all the games I've played in order for the achievements to be counted?

I feel like I've earned some achievements offline and then they popped up as soon as I logged in and played that game.

I tried it with Black Flag and no luck, I haven't had much time to game but I'll try out Fallout 4 sometime tonight and see if I get anything considering I beat Nuka World offline.

Ok, so some of you may think I'm being a traitor and joining the darkside, some of you may think ive seen sense...

 

I switch to ps3 to ps4 on release, the only game I play is gta5, recently ive noticed that the majority of my friends with a ps4 don't play gta5, seems fair I guess, but, I have a couple of mates on xb1 who do still play gta5, so I was wondering if I could transfer my account over to xb1 then run them both individually and go at my own pace on either platform? as ive done fair too much (for my standards) to have to start all over again on xb1, and I want to keep my ps4.

But I can answer you. I was able to tranfer my X360 account to my PS4. I'm not 100% sure if you can transfer them between the current gen consoles though. Probably yes because it's a legit account transfer. You aren't transfering your save game. Your account is stored on R*'s servers and doesn't seem to have anything to do with your platform.

Simply logging in to your Social Club account on your new console should to the trick.

In case it won't work, try contacting R*.

If you are asking if you can transfer a profile or a save game from one platform the the next, then the answer is no, I'm afraid.

Pretty much. I'm guessing Grow Up and Runbow are obscure indie games or something?

 

Kane & Lynch 2, I'm pretty surprised that they chose this game instead of something better. Even the first one would've been better. K&L2 is only enjoyable in that "so bad it's good" kinda way.

 

At least the Lego games are fun so that's something people can look forward to.

To be honest, I've played lego pirates, and it's the weakest of the lego games I've played. It's not like Star Wars or Marvel or Batman where you have to get every obscure character. I, at least, lost interest soon after beating the story.

Most if not all of these are not going to happen. They need to be re-released to make it to the Xbox One, and getting the music rights can be a headache for publishers.

Um, you do know they're expanding backwards compatibility to OG Xbox games right?

What thing that I said indicates that I don't know that? Watch some of the Spencer interviews. He literally said that they can't do backwards compatibility for all games mostly because of music rights and some of the devs\publishers are dead. They essentially need to re-release the game to feature it as compatible with the Xbox One even though technically it's running in an emulator.

Nothing indicates that NFS is off-limits. Besides, they could just remove the song they lost the music rights for like R* did.

I find the sale to be a bit "meh" to be honest. Not nearly as great as previous sales.

 

I bought Storm Island for FH2 since I can't pass up that deal though.
