Oh yeah, Saints Row! It's so weird that IV is the only entry that's BC.

And while I'm working on my wishlist, Assassin's Creed III, Rogue and Liberation, please. And not just because I'm a shameless AC III fanboy feel that AC III is very underrated and really enjoy the other two too, but because with those three made BC, that would mean that between AC I, AC II/The Ezio Collection, Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate, every AC game (not counting nearly all the handheld releases) would be playable on XB1.

And speaking of Ubi, Far Cry 3! FC4 has the same basic gameplay, but with enough little tweaks and improvements that I consider it the superior game, but FC3 still has a special place in my heart. Yeah the story was mostly lame except for some cool villains, but I can't even begin to tell you how many hours I spent in late 2012/early 2013 I spent playing that damn game, to the point where the Rook Islands basically became my other home. We already got Blood Dragon though, so I have a feeling that making that DLC BC was basically a dry run for making the much bigger main game BC. FC Classic, Instincts: Predator, and FC 2 would be sweet as well.

Meh. Between work, the holidays, Mass Effect and the annual Star Wars frenzy, I haven't even started Sleeping Dogs yet. GWG can take a couple months off again.

Gonna try play some Burnout and I'm thinking of getting stuck in to nice game of Christmas. Just not sure what.

I just could never get into a burnout game. Tried playing paradise, and it's just so boring. GTA kind of ruined the fun of crashing in other games.

I'm just going to go and predict the games with gold for February given this week's sales.

Xbox One:

Either Walking Dead Michonne or Life is Strange

Firewatch

Xbox 360:

Skate 3

Oblivion or maybe Fallout New Vegas?

I bought all those this week as they were all cheap. Knowing my recent sh*tty luck that'll happen. Hell, it happened when I bought Just Cause 2. The very next month it was announced GWG lol

They just put Walking Dead Michonne on sale and I bought it, so if they make it GWG I'm going to hate Microsoft >:|

It will happen. Sorry.

I get burnt by GWG all the time.

Balancing fiscal responsibility and the need for immediate gratification is tough since inevitably sh*t gets cheaper(and sometimes free) with time. I'm not like a 'need it now' kinda person, but sometimes the cost of 'I want it now for fun' is worth it. Not that this cliche really applies to buying video games but 'Ya only live once'.

I got Telltale Games Batman on sale yesterday. £10 for all 5 episodes and I can tell you one thing, I'm really, really enjoying it.

Sure its laggy sometimes and the framerate drops constantly, but I am really enjoying the story and seeing Batman/Bruce Wayne in a whole new light. Would recommend :^:

Also, has anyone on here played it with an Xbox Elite Controller? I had to disable my trigger stops otherwise RT just wouldn't get recognized. If you look at my game stats on Xbox I've died more times than all of my friends  Once I disabled trigger stops though It worked liked a charm.

Yeah I picked up the entire season of Batman as well yesterday after playing the first Episode back when it was free. The performance issues are awful compared to all the other Telltale Games, I remember there being zero sound effects when I fought Catwoman, making it incredibly awkward but the episode was still very good, making me want more.

Is anyone else having issues with the Xbox One Slim? I have had problems with getting my NAT settings from Strict to Open and now I'm getting inaccurate upload speeds, packet loss, and my latency is everywhere. Never had these issues with my orginal One and I only got the Slim today

I've been thinking about getting the Deluxe Edition of Sunset Overdrive. It costs $16.50 right now. All the DLC combined usually cost $25 not counting the season pass. The game itself usually costs $30 but since I got it with GWG it was free as long as my membership held up. So for $16.50 I get stuff that combined would usually cost $50+. It practically sells itself.

Still haven't played Sunset Overdrive even though I have it.

Speaking of deals, The Witcher is 15 Euros to purchase at the moment. Bought it last night. Just started it. Still trying to break in to it. I'll give it a proper bash over the weekend.

Same. Had it close to day one. Started it like twice and never committed.

You know what I like about my newish One S? I don't suffer controller disconnects any more...sweet.

Since I suspect my day one XOne issue is hard drive related I'm gonna toss a new drive in. Excited to (finally) be getting that loose screw that has been rattling around since I bought it.

How did it go, trip? I was thinking of replacing my HDD with an SSD, but I saw some Youtube testing on the gains, and there wasn't much to get excited about considering the cable is still SATA 2.0, I think.

Scorpio can't get here soon enough.

Not so well. D'oh. I should have done my research instead of relying on my lame memory. I thought I'd just drop a sata2 drive in. I didn't know it had to be a 3 inch drive...all I have are standard 5 inchers.

At least I'm practiced in opening the case and all. :)

Oh and I rescued that loose screw that has been rattling around since day one.

Does anyone know of an app or some way to play music in the background while playing a game?

Booth Groove and Pandora allow background play. Just fire them up...start what you want to hear and then hit the xbox button to return to your home screen...pick a game and go. The play controls (volume, skip, whatever) will then be on that left side black menu when you double tab the xbox button during game play.

My only gripe about the One version of background play compared to the 360 version is it doesn't truly replace the music layer (through the magic of DX sound handlers) of the game.

With groove you can load up your own music to onedrive. Still a pain in the ass and nowhere near as convenient as the 360 use of MS Media Player.

I hear where you are coming from. But hey...it was over a year in in the Xone before there was any background music. Maybe they'll finally give us back the old fashioned MS Media Player.

I've gotten to like Pandora in general.

I wasn't looking forward to the game, but I feel bad for Kamiya. This was his dream game and seeing it axed after four years in development... that must hurt.

Oh well. The lineup for 2017 doesn't seem so hot now. Halo Wars 2 (which is a niche game), Crackdown 3 (which we know nearly nothing about) and that's it as far as the big names go. Granted, they'll probably have some releases tucked away for the holiday season to boost Scorpio, but I don't expect anything earthshattering. Forza 7, maybe Halo 3 Anniversary; safe bets.

Homemade Dynamite

I'm pretty pissed that they cancelled Scalebound. Seriously, this was their one J-game that was being made for Xbox One and it was by Platinum no less. I've always been a big support of Xbox, but that is something I can't stand by. sh*tty move, Microsoft, sh*tty move.

So happy to have Bad Company 2 backwards.

However, the pricks are running wild still. Helicopter whores spawn trapping in Conquest... oh it's good to be back...

Pandora is awkward cause unlike Groove, which is too slow to dig through so you have to just let it shuffle and I hate shuffle, anyways it's awkward cause every song or ad is at a different volume and with a headset on during a game this is frustrating.
