Just got done messing with the app, it's pretty disappointing. I added almost 1200 songs to my flash drive, but it only made a playlist of the first 200 songs. There's no shuffle, no repeat, it's really barebones. Such a bummer.

Hit left on the DPad and you'll get the options for shuffle and repeat.

In Simple Background Music Player? Going left just goes to to the pause and skip song options. There isn't anything else there for me.

Yeah...thought it was groove. My mistake.

just now out of nowhere Pandora left my apps and is in the install node. The problem is it won't install. But wait there's more...While fighting with Pandora, Cast showed up in the 'updates' node.

 

Maybe that is all a good sign that Pandora is getting background ready.

It's great that you can now put unsaved captures into Onedrive. Handy for me since the only other way to send captures there was through Upload Studio and I don't want to buy gold for one capture.

 

Overall, I like this new update. It's much more interesting than past ones.

I cant upload my clips from xbox one to youtube. Everytime i try it gets to 100% then says "An error has occurred while uploading the video.

E:Resolved it by uninstalling and reinstalling the youtube app.

Its the creative fatal1ty gaming headset. Also I have the one with the controller with the headphone jack or 3.5 mm jack.

The headphone jack will do you just fine then, and you won't need an adapter. Getting game sound, however, might require you to buy an adapter like this to plug into the controller:

Speaking of headphone Jacks and Xbox one controllers. Since I'm not getting any younger and since I have to run the ceiling fan because it's like a billion degrees here (and no A/C on my first floor) I've taken to plugging in headphone to my controller to watch tv (and movies) at night. Neat...

Found the NBC Sports app in the store, and I can use it to watch any event from the Olympics. I love that UWP has made apps more easily available on XB1.

The latest preview update gives you the option to turn off the startup chime on the Xbox. Great! Now if all UWP apps would install, like pandora, I would quit batching for a while.

I see Groove in now background capable. But...but...but!!! Where the f*ck is my onedrive? I'm not paying for a sh*tty music pass or anything. Did they do away with onedrive streaming on the Xbox oNE version of groove? Am I missing something?

Xbox Live has been having issues the last few days. When i got on today I had no friends list.

I gotta check that out. I had that working but playlists weren't syncing correctly. The songs were in OneDrive, but the playlists I synced from iTunes didn't have all the songs for some reason.

 

I'll give Groove one more go, but I only have 5 gigs of space. I just want DLNA so I don't have to update OneDrive all the time.

Yup...out of nowhere Groove showed up in my 'updated' node. Maybe like 45 minutes ago.

 

Good old DLNA would be sweet. I got all excited when you said USB player got shuffle. I was hoping that it was also background ready now. I have nearly 2TB of music on my NAS(I dont have time for USB ).

 

Things are definitely getting better.

I just wanna know, what is the hold up with the Pandora app??? The app they highlighted as part of the background music. Why was there an uninstallable version of Pandora released for preview 3 weeks ago!?

 

What kills me the most is they will not say sh*t about the progress or when it will release.
