It's not wobbly. Things seem tight. It just thinks its being lightly moved forward every now and then. Oddly enough I was just trying to use it since I'm on my PC atm. No go. Drove me nuts. Might just have to play a kb/m only game. I cheat and use a controller to drive when playing GTA.

They would make a killer instinct pack with no sadira in it -__-. Its a pretty great pack regardless. Them adding gears of war gamer pics is cool but I can't say I like the selection they gave us. The only character I like from the new squad is just kait so far.

 

When are they going to allow us to use our own pics like PSN?

didn't even know psn users could do that. Tbh they really should allow us to do the same. Like if you don't want to see custom pictures then turn it off in the family settings. If all else fails, buy a new one at Walmart and return it.

 

That's how I did it with mine, since mine was a custom controller, I just swapped the plates out and no questions asked.

-Some kind of VR announcement

Generally leaning towards Microsoft stuff and throwing extra stuff on top of what's already been said

• A new Forza... I mean, it's pretty much guaranteed right?
• I'm thinking there might be some Xbox - PC talk in there, maybe something like cross platform multiplayer?
• DirectX 12 talk
• Universal Windows Apps
• New Red Dead along with a BC announcement for RDR, or maybe a RDR remaster being bundled with a new Red Dead game.
• Tomb Raider Anthology with a bunch of remastered seeing as it's the 20th anniversary of Tomb Raider.
• Scalebound, people liked it, it got delayed. I'm 100% sure that this is going to be shown.
• Gears 4, pretty sure they said they'd show this at this year's E3 last year
• Sea of Thieves? That was a thing that sort of fell off the earth after last year's E3
• New Crackdown
• Dead Rising

Ok, Cortana needs a little work. Sometimes she goes into a sleep mode, I've noticed. So when you attempt a command such as "Hey Cortana mute," she has to start 'Listening' and then performs the command a few seconds later. Also, sometimes she disconnects from the internet. It's the weirdest thing. Without internet, she can't do anything. I kind of wish we could use Cortana and Xbox commands simultaneously right now.

Something with the new update has royally f*cked up the party system. If there is more than 5-6 people in the party, disconnected without a notification, party mutes.

 

As weird as it sounds, i suspect it has something to do with cortana. After using her, the party system goes to shot. May be a coincidence but i think its her.

 

There is also a bug where saying hey cortana then cancelling takes control away and none of the buttons work. You have to dashboard and go back to the game to regain control.

 

I think I'll be disabling Cortana for a while.

Yeah, Fraizer, I'm noticing an issue where Cortana suddenly "crashes", and then all commands thereafter cause a bunch of bugs. Cortana will usually start saying she can't connect to the internet. I've found that hard resetting the console is the only way to fix it.

Definitely buggy right now.

Quick question about the free weekend that just happened. It said it was from June 9-12 and it would end at 11:59 PT. I tried playing GTAO at 4:00 PM ET today and it treated it as if the event was over. No multiplayer, nothing. Did I just screw up with the time or something?

I am extremely happy to see that Xbox clubs is going to be a thing. I always forget its a thing on PSN but I'm happy that we are getting something similar to it now. Just having the ability to chat and share content withing a certain community straight from my Xbox is great a feature to have. I'm looking forward to having this almost as much as background music if not more.

Add me to the list for DR4 hype. I was totally late to the party on that series because I was stubborn and very anti zombie since there was just pop culture overload in the zombie market. The trailer for DR3 is what made me try DR2 and then the original. I could kick myself for being stubborn.

 

I hope DR4 offers shared play between xbox and pc (like Quantum Break did).

I wouldn't call it a mistake, since Microsoft left Sony unprepared... again. This method was pulled few times in the market, for example when Sony forced Sega to change architecture of Saturn to allow it render 3D games. Right now Sony will have to either make PS 4.5 stronger, which will be hard to do, since devkits were already sent to studios or release new console soon after the 4.5 to compete with Scorpio, which in result will cost them a lot in both money and something you may call market trust.

 

I'm glad I've trusted Microsoft in this generation. Despite the fact that they sometimes say a lot of crap and do things that are at least strange, they seem to have an idea what direction they should be heading and their integration of Win 10 and X1 sounds quite interesting. Line-up of the upcoming games also looks nice and I'll be definitely waiting for many of them.

Not much of interest this year. It's not like they had a bad showcase, just that they had nothing for me, except for Halo Wars. The clubs sound cool, I guess...

 

As for Halo Wars, the fans are already losing their mind over Cutter's design and 343 retconning the Ark to feature the Warrior-Servant architecture (aka, the post-Halo 4 Forerunner design). People are worried about the Templar-Cortana plot invading the story too, but that doesn't really bother me. I don't like the twist, I really don't like Halo 5's story overall, but they could still do something interesting with the concept. It's all about how each individual writer handles it.

 

We know that Cortana is rallying the disenfranchised species right now (she already has the Grunts on her side, for example) and sharing Forerunner tech with them in exchange for their servitude. The Brutes are the obvious potential recruits and I'm really interested what was the impact of the Covenant's fall on their culture and religion and where the Created come in. What they hope to get out of it all, apart from power and revenge and what Cortana wants to do with them, in turn. And yeah, there actually are Sangheili fighting on the Banished's side - survivors from 'Mdama's Covenant? The Elites serving under Brutes is a pretty interesting twist.

 

And I love the Banished's design, it embraces the classic scrappy, makeshift Brute aesthetic, but with repurposed modern UNSC/Covenant tech. Really cool.
