On the topic of external hard drives, does anything with USB 3.0 work with Xbox? Could a large thumb drive with USB 3.0 work as an external hard drive for Xbox?

I can get a 2 TB USB 3.0 thumb drive no problem, but I don't know if I can format it for Xbox.

I didn't even know they make thumb drives that big, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Dang that mod is cool. I got a mod that makes the Commonwealth more grassy but doesn't add all those trees and stuff. I got a bit concerned when my game started lagging severely when I entered VATS each time but reloading my save cleared that up for me. I got some other "enhancement" mods as well.

 

 

The mod creator was seriously generous towards Cait, sheesh.

 

 

 

And of course can't get over how obnoxiously powerful these are

Keywords being "some of the features" So it's still possible that it'll be here by the Anniversary update.

The switch to Cortana will be weird for us since we still use kinect and the initial set of voice commands.

I'm not in preview, but Cortana works with the mic? NICE! Can't wait for this update to be released to the public

Just got the new update.

 

Cortana works like a charm. I don't have to shout and enunciate perfectly anymore to get what I want. It's also incredibly responsive! Amazing work by Xbox! I'm going to be using this a lot now.

 

Also, you can talk to it like a person. As an example, I don't have to keep saying "Xbox Volume Down" to lower the volume very low. I can say "Hey Cortana lower the volume 3 notches", and it knows what I want.

That sounds very pleasing. Cortana in her early forms (phone,for example), was very buggy and sometimes unresponsive. I'm glad to see they have vastly improved her functionality.

Yeah, it seems like you still have to say the full name of the game. Hopefully in the future, they will allow us to use short names for games.

Pretty much everything i say she brings up an internet search in snap. I've tried "go to..." "open..." "launch..." I have tried to get her to record a clip while playing a game, and its still an internet search.

 

Bonus: if you say Hey Cortana "what does the fox say?" (Suggested by my son) She has a funny response and a pic of a fox. Apparently siri does the same thing.
