Games with Gold is finally................

 

I already have Valiant Hearts: The Great War for PS4, it was a PS Plus free game ages ago. I don't do Episodic games so The Walking Dead is no good for me either. Which stinks because I am a huge fan of the show. I had a good run with Games With Gold. I have been downloading every month usually everything they have for free but the streak is over. It was a good streak to say the least. Been nothing but good games every month for a while now. Couldn't be happier with there selection.

I know what you mean, I've been searching for what PS Plus are gonna be for October but today they said "They might have an announcement by tomorrow". I'm hoping it something big, maybe they are trying to get the green light for. Hoping The Order 1886 or something like that.

Pretty much I use my PS4 for gaming only. Anything else I use Xbox One for. You Tube, Netflix, HBO GO. To me Xbox One has always had the better interface to begin with since day one. Even with the upcoming Windows 10, to me they were already aghead of the compitition. We just got an update on the PS4, update 3.0. Some changes, nothing game changing though. PS4 doen't even have Twitch yet. They tried to push out this "Live from Playstation" deal. Basically Twitch but PS version. I wish they would just axe it and go the Twitch route. Just to give some guys FYI on what PS4 got in the new update. Lets just say its not as good as Xbox One updates:

 

Events: A new Events app has been added to PS4, accessible from the home screen. This will give you an overview of activities taking place in the games you play most, as well as official broadcasts.

For instance, this week we have a double XP racing event in Driveclub and a Team of the Week Event in FIFA 16, you can register directly from the Events app. Once registered you can utilise the auto-boot functionality to set your PS4 to automatically turn on and launch the game and Event at the Event start time. Stay tuned for new gaming events and broadcasts.

 

Communities: PS4 users will have the ability to create and join communities based around shared interests, like games, genres, and more. Communities include a message board with general discussion, screenshots shared by players, and the ability to join parties/games. I guess something is better then nothing, but I'm just thankful Xbox One is moving right along and improving things month to month and not quarter to quarter.

I don't believe so. I'm guessing the new dash might be quieter. This is still the dash where they thought everyone would be navigating via voice commands and kinect.

 

I use voice commands and I don't hear any of the clicks and swishes.

Did you get the first message where it tells you how to change your enrollment? Was your account pending the change? I need to know. Hahahaha. I've been sitting in pending ever since I changed my enrollment. It's killin' me.

I see some people talking about it, so I just want to suggest that if anyone has something wrong with their controller. I recommend looking up a youtube video on how to open up a controller and see what does what, because replacing a simple part(like the rubber pads beneath a button to fix having to press a button down harder) is FAR cheaper than buying a new controller.

 

It may look confusing at first, but it is simple and all the parts go together in a pretty straightforward way. The Xbox controllers need a torx 8 security screwdriver to open and whatever part you need to replace. I just got a whole bag of rubber pads for the buttons for like $7 on ebay so I never have to worry about that ever again. It is well worth it to never have to buy a new controller because of broken buttons.

 

I'd personally never do it because I just don't know how, but if you know how to solder, you can even replace the analog stick things if your sticks ever start drifting(like when you're not touching it, but it still sticks out a little bit, causing your character/aim to move slightly).

I kinda wonder what the difference was in install sizes between the same games on both Xbox One and PS4. This list does there top 20 disparities.

I got the new dash update!!! Super cool. Haven't played around too much yet.
