Anyone else see the new Xbox elite bundle, http://news.xbox.com/2015/08/xbox-one-elite-bundle, that 1tb hybrid hard drive seems really cool to me especially since changing internal hard drives on Xbox one is non existent. Also I'll be definitely getting the lunar controller. It matches perfectly with my sunset overdrive Xbox one.

Thinking about buying a new TV, i'm going to he playing my Xbox one on this new TV, so does anyone know any good TVs or websites/stores I can look in, I'm looking for something that'll be good for gaming and TV alike, nothing crazy expensive either. I live in the UK by the way.

 

TV's are cheap as ever now. Just go with a 1080p LED screen, preferably with a higher refresh rate. Maybe something like 120Hz, but no more. I know in the U.S., we have a cheap brand called Vizio that does the job pretty well. You can also try Sharp and Panasonic, which I think is a little cheaper than your average Sony or Samsung.

That looks super sexy, and I know I'm definitely getting an Elite controller. I understand many have been questioning the pricetag, but it's really a no-brainer for those of use who have been using Scuf controllers for years. It does some and then more than a Scuf for a comparable, if not cheaper, price.

I'm a sucker for controllers. I got the Titanfall controller, the blue and black controller, pre ordered the elite and am definitely getting the white controller. Nice.

Ill stick with my custom Dead Rising Xbox One I won, but that's a nice bundle.

 

The best one I think is the Forza with the sounds but the best looking one is the Fallout 4 one, Pip Box.

That Fallout Xbox looks like sex in a box. I want it so bad. That white controller looks cool as hell, wish I had money right now cause I could really use a second controller.

 

Also, Xbox finally addressed the download speeds. Thank god, I can finally download sh*t again.

How do you share screenshots or save them to a USB on the XBOX One? I don't see the option to do either.

There is also a simpler way...Go to Upload Studio find the Screenshot you want press Start > Export to One Drive then it'll be sent to your One Drive on your PC

You can also see screenshots on ios and android Smartglass now and on the xbox app on PC. Saving the image from those is a little faster still.

Even though mandatory installs are still kind of annoying after all this time, I can't help but feel spoiled by being able to start playing a game before it's finished installing/downloading whenever I'm the process of downloading a new game on steam, lol.

On that note, does anyone feel like the advent of digital downloads on console has led them to make purchases they would not have otherwise? I feel like I have more games on my Xbox One in the first two years than the total amount I ever bought 360. I feel like it's so easy to buy games now with the click of a button, and I haven't even had time to play half of them. I feel like I wasted my money on some of them. Like I literally played Sunset Overdrive 5 times. It's sort of like always forcing yourself to carry cash around because mentally it's much easier to spend with a the credit card.

 

What they really need is more digital demos. Either that, or they need to bring back some kind of DRM to incorporate digital rentals, sales and purchases. For now, I'm going to start looking at starting up a GameFly subscription, because I really need to put a personal lid on the purchases.

Can't wait to play Halo/Forza!

If the xboxclips.com method is not showing your screenshots, try going into your Xbox settings and look for "See your game clips", set that to everybody, and they should begin to show up now on the site.

Screenshots don't show up at all.On the smartglass app; go to captures, where it says "My game clips - Recent" select the down arrow and select "My screenshots" and there is your list of screenshots. The Dashboard is coming sometime this month. Hopefully the first wave of BC title do too, I NEED to play New Vegas. They just made Borderlands 1 BC today, wish it was Fallout.

I know how you feel. I have a gap in time before my next two games hit(Halo 5 & Fallout 4).

 

Still my weekly gaming time is only about 15-20hrs potentially, with School and Work.

According to some leaked documents by Microsoft, they believe DX12 will increase CPU performance by 50% and GPU by 20%. Now I know a lot of games have still been 900p, but I think Tomb Raider will be one of the first games on XB1 to use DX12. There's no way they're going to release TR in anything less than 1080p. That would be a major blow to such a huge investment.

 

 

Supposedly, a file from Microsoft's documentation about DirectX 12 on Xbox One has leaked online. While a lot of technical details are present, the most interesting snippet has to be an estimation of the performance increase offered by the new technology. According to the file, Microsoft believes that DirectX 12 boosts the Xbox One's CPU performance by 50% and GPU performance by 20%.
