Downloading Dishonored. Confirmed that there is no download status via smartglass.

 

Oh and what is the deal with the BC update delay? I haven't been paying attention...I just want to play some Fallout 3 soon.

 

I've been burnt on all the sales and free games. No regrets...no looking back. Ha

Enjoy Dishonored! It's a great game made by the company that helped develop Bioshock 2.

 

I guess that would explain why I found them so similar while playing Dishonored. I mean, I never played BioShock 2 but I played 1 and Infinite, and they look and feel extremely similar to me.

I would recommend you play it then. The story isn't as good as Bioshock, but the gameplay is much better.

Yeah, I liked Dishonored for what it was. Would love a full on open world with this gameplay. Something like Far Cry with swords and super powers.

Good thing I got in months ago. Perhaps they're doing this so not everyone who has an Xbox One has all the new features and stuff this holiday. Cause the new dashboard comes out next month for us, and who knows if or when they test the first list of Backwards Compatible games.

For some reason I am getting no progress on this install. When I try to install it, it says "installing" for a few minutes then it fails. Never goes even to 1%. This a common issue?

 

I reset my xbox, tried deleting the install and starting it over, it just refuses to install. I have plenty of my room on the HDD for it. I don't understand.

Edit: Would it be because my account isn't my home? I really hope not, I would hate to have used this code for no reason.

 

Yep, it's cause of the account not being my home xbox. The guy who's account is my home got the install and not me. So, that sucks. LOL

It shouldn't be the problem. I installed it on my xbox and my wife's xbox is my home xbox. I'm not sure what the deal is with yours. That problem they were having with the codes yesterday might be the problem you are having now.

Still waiting for this Black Ops 3 Beta to download. Finally after so many hours for it to stop "failing to download" it finally worked. Got up to 75% and got stuck again. Called it a night. Woke up today, and it's gone up a whole 7% in about 2 hours. I have pretty good internet on my Xbone,, I get like 48 Down on average. No way, this should be taking this long. It probably isn't even worth all this time spent downloading it.

Either I'm just paranoid, or the MCC matchmaking is even slower than usual. I guess the population took quite a hit with the Blops III beta. Aw well. Treyarch made the beta open for everyone last weekend on PS4, right? I suppose the Xbox community won't get the same courtesy now that Activision isn't getting them sweet Redmond bucks.

Damn and I thought I was the only one. I've had this happen to me playing GTA 5, where buildings would magically appear in front of me. I have the Toshiba 3TB Canvio, its speed is at 5700 rpm so speed might play a factor.

Its the opposite for me, I notice less texture pop in than the internal hard drives. Especially in GTA. Whats the RPMs of your HD?

 

Edit: I am running the the 7200 rpm WD so yeah, that might be the problem. It still seems like anything would perform better than the 5200 rpm internal though.

Oh wow, I have the same one I think. It was like $80. I really hope that's not the issue, but if you have it too and Frazier doesn't with his 7200 RPM drive, then that may be the problem.

Thinking about buying a new TV, i'm going to he playing my Xbox one on this new TV, so does anyone know any good TVs or websites/stores I can look in, I'm looking for something that'll be good for gaming and TV alike, nothing crazy expensive either. I live in the UK by the way.

Nah, that finished after 2 days. Which is ridiculous because it was only 14 GB's. It took me less time to download Halo MCC a few weeks ago. My xbox cannot download anything. It just sits on "Installing..." and never goes to 1% or 0%. I got a console update 2 days ago? And it took like an hour to download 269 mb's. And it failed like 2 times. Seems they're having some server issues, I mean I haven't checked today but I imagine it still sucks.
