Article can mostly be summed up with, "I don't think Activision will do it because they're greedy". Which isn't particularly useful as far as insights go and about as common an opinion among the non-gaming press as you could find.

IMO, they should just bring some of their older games to X1 with the backwards compatibility, I feel like they'd do that rather than to spend the money on a huge remaster. Their sales are dropping anyway with COD, right?

I think Ghosts sold roughly about the same amount of units as Black Ops, Black Ops II and Modern Warfare 3 did, albeit that's spread across 4 platforms (they'd have sold a lot less if it had been last gen only).

 

Advanced Warfare has definitely sold a lot less than previous games though.

So am i not able to play homemade DVD on XB1?

 

I tried three DVD of movies and they all give me the same emssage, Please insert a Blu-Ray or DVD when the movie is actually a DVD.

 

i tried both the Blu-Ray and Insert Disc app get the same message for both, PS4 playes em just fine but XB1 can't read em

Should.

 

Is it a DVD-R? Maybe try the Media Player app.

 

 

I haven't messed with a burned DVD in forever, if anything, I just stream it.

Does it NEED to be burned to disc, Troubadour? If I ever want to watch something I've downloaded on XB1, I put the file on a USB and play it with the media player app.

E: Nevermind, I found patch notes. Supposed to be for the party system but 2 gigs seems big for just that.

You have to update the media player if I'm not mistaken. It should prompt and update when you pop the disc in.

Had How to Survive on the 360, quite a fun little game, I doubt I'll play it on the Xbox One, I might give it a little play at some point.

You can stream 1080p/60fps now, aslong as your bandwidth can handle it.

Just like previous Telltale games, and Life is Strange, I play the newest episode in a span of a few hours. I am a very immersed person, dislike stopping a game if I'm into it. With that comes beating AAA games in 2-3 days on average

I hear ya. That's the thing. I'm a very immersed person when it comes to gaming. I just don't get the opportunities for those choice hours as much as I'd like. I totally knock out those Borderlands episodes in one sitting. That is why I haven't started 3 yet - I need to make sure I'm going to have the proper hours needed to fully appreciate it. Sure sure sure...I could play it later at night after I have nothing to do and the misses is asleep, but then I'm also kinda beat and would just motor through and not stop and smell the roses.

 

Thanks to the weather here I've been able to catch some serious blocks of gaming. Soon fall will be here and I'll lose the "it's too hot" excuse for all the sh*t that needs to be done around the house and such.

Just got an update on the Smartglass app for iPad and you can finally see your screenshots on there. Now I don't have to fool around with Onedrive if I take a snap I want to save. Is it the same on Android?

I got my PC by my console all the time. You get those bubbles for everything. Party invites, messages, achievements you name it.
