I hope they show some more Rise of the Tomb Raider. Not too much more, doesn't even have to be gameplay. I would like to know if the game is going to be just a linear game or maybe a linear game with small options. Deffinatly picking this up in November. Its probably the only Xbox One exclusive I'm getting in the near future atleast until after the holiday. Not getting Gears of War or Halo.

Win 10 on X1 November, so Cortana will be there, but yea kind of lame for us who got one from the beginning since it's basically useless. lol

Has anyone else picked up the Rare Replay collection yet?

 

 

Fun fact: thanks to this collection, there are now more Nintendo 64 classics available to play on Xbox One than there are on the “virtual console” service on Nintendo’s own Wii U console.

 

Seems really well put together so far, with what little time I've spent playing it.

So after watching the gameplay video, the game looks decent. I needed something that stood out at me. So I thought, How many games have I played in the last year that your character walks into a camp/base type area and you slowly sneak around and stealth kill enemies first or third person? Answer: Alot. The Last of Us: Remastered, Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes,The Evil Within, Thief, Wolfenstein: The New Order. Just to name the ones that I have played. When I compair this gameplay with those games and how you handled the areas, its not too bad. That rainy jungle area really stood out to me, looks good. I'm just glad its not too linear. What I mean by too linear, games like Ryse: Son of Rome, decent/pretty game, but has to be one of the most linear games I've played on these consoles. They could have done so much more with that game.

Pretty good conference. Scale bound and Crackdown look fantastic. BC in November is great, only problem i have is i'm worried about publishers/developers not backing up bc. I was really looking forward to playing cod zombies again but that might not happen, i also really hope Rockstar oks bc although i'm pretty sure it will happen since 2K was on support list at the conference. .

Scalebound looks great man, framerate was a bit wonky, but the game is over a year out. Holiday 2016 is going to be stacked if nothing gets delayed. Gears, Scalebound, and Crackdown 3.

 

And Quantum Break looks awesome as usual. It's releasing close to my birthday too!

No, but definitely want to - if only because it's got Conker's Bad Fur Day (the original N64 version, too - not the Xbox remastered version!). Worth the asking price alone - probably one of the best Matrix parodies ever, and underneath all the crass-and-puerile-in-the-best-possible-way humour, it was a really solid, satisfying experience from a mechanical perspective (loved the multiplayer back in the day).

 

Intrigued by Halo Wars 2, simply because it looks like they're following up the story of the original - but then again, seeing what 343's done to up-end stuff like the Forerunners and everything with Halo 4, plus mulching Eddie Buck into 'yet another NPC Spartan-IV backup guy' in 5, I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

 

Crackdown 3: Aside from "huh - so it's a sequel, not a reboot, now? And do they really want to acknowledge Crackdown 2 even existed?", I got a lot of giddy flashbacks to the original game watching that preview. Looks like female agents are included this time - wonder if they'll still have the changing appearance feature from the original as you level up (I loved that - small details like that were what made the original so cool), as well as the ability to swap agent model in the main menu - ?

 

Indeed, the preview looked so much like the original, I was almost worried that it was just a bigger, prettier remake of the same underlying stuff- which wouldn't be bad, exactly, but I was wondering what new angle they could add to expand on the series' free-form gameplay...

According to a ton of Twitter'ers Microsoft is aiming to release the new Dashboard to preview members in September. IDK if it's true, perhaps this is due to the snowball effect, but I hope it is true. Fingers crossed.

I hope this trend of Microsoft offering older games with new releases thanks to backwards compatibility (Fallout 3 & NV with Fallout 4, Just Cause 2 with Just Cause 3 etc) continues. It's so much more palatable than the norm re: console exclusives for games.

The Brutes are back, that's awesome on its own. And they showed the Flood running free aboard the Spirit of Fire in Escalation, didn't they?

 

The Insurrection, Sangheili civil war, the Didact, whatever the Guardians are supposed to be, the Brutes who no doubt have their own agenda and then the Flood back in the mix? Master Chief is going to have his hands full in Halo 6.
