Totally enjoyed the Metro games. Made me feel like I was playing an old school PC shooter.

 

 

Unrelated yet still xbox one related:

So, I knew about streaming x1 games to a win 10 pc but I didn't know that it was also going to stream PC games to X1 - that is a super bonus. Being able to play City Skylines and other PC only titles will be cool. But that isn't what I'm finding exciting...The mouse keyboard support and being able to have my x1 become a full blown work horse win 10 PC is going to be a huge deal for me.

 

I retired my laptop (for an android tablet) so if I need to do any coding or other PC activities I have to go up to my third floor and fire up the big rig...and it is f*cking hot up there in the summer months.

 

Microsoft is actually fulfilling their dream of one unit in your living room that does it all...any one remember WebTV?

I can play multiplayer and everything else, I just can't download GWG because I don't have an active subscription. Makes no f*cking sense to me.

 

So, then just set your Xbox as his Home Xbox and vice versa. You'll both have gold and both will get the GwG games.

Not quite yet, but Spencer has discussed about it being in scope of things they want to do. Encoding the games to stream from Pc to Xbox is a lot harder, because they know exactly the hardware you get with the X1.

 

 

Though, I've been saying that ever since they announced X1 to other devices.

Wait...So does this mean i can play my Payday 2 PC version with mods on my PC and steam it to my TV via XB1?

DayZ... One of the few games which have become popular despite the god awful optimisation. I'd be very surprised if it ran well on console because the developers put very little effort in when it comes to optimisation.

DayZ... One of the few games which have become popular despite the god awful optimisation. I'd be very surprised if it ran well on console because the developers put very little effort in when it comes to optimisation.

 

That's probably one of the reasons it's actually popular. And I don't see why a sh*t optimization would make the game suffer in terms of popularity.

No solid details yet. I'm sure it is going to have be restrictive somehow. My PC still kicks my X1's ass in the hardware department so it isn't like I would be able to stream my games past what the X1 could handle. I'm also sure there will be tons of licensing stuff as well.

After too many days I finally have win 10 installed on my gaming rig. I just did the streaming from my X1 to my PC. Pretty cool.

It's very freeing. For the past month or so I have been having to delete stuff to make room. It doesn't hurt that it has a 7200 rpm hard drive, it loads GTAV about 30 seconds faster.

They're pretty good deals, but wished they would make deals for them digitally as well. Even though Madden and Fallout are on my buy list instead of rent, so far.

Same exact external HDD that I purchased as well over a year ago it seems now. I have had zero issues with this. (Knock on wood). I paid around $20 more a year ago.
