Those are just random clips. I think you can change the settings in each game you play.

Right now there is no way to disable auto recordings. There used to be but not anymore. But don't worry it will not eat up your memory, it will automatically delete old clips.

 

Not sure how this passed under the radar here but Screenshots on Xbox One coming soon. They are using them on dev kits.

Ahh Hardline is in Beta so it didn't give me the option

Nah wasn't worried about that, It was just annoying me as the beep distracted me and i looked to see what the notification said on the screen in the middle of the game.

 

Anybody else getting an error message when they try and broadcast with Twitch?

 

Was trying to stream Hardline for a friend last night but kept getting an error message but works fine on PS

Yay for screenshots. Haven't gotten the preview version yet. I hope it includes the 30 second animated .gif feature they are adding to gamedvr (or whatever the current editing tool is called).

 

I swear I still have my automatic recording stuff turned off(can still do "xbox record that")...or I just suck so bad it doesn't even auto record my play.

It used to be an option, but the option changed. Perhaps if you had it turned off before the option went away it has stayed off without the option to turn it back on... that would suck. Anyway, I think on GTA online it doesn't do auto records but it should on single player.

Pretty sure Madden had the auto record feature in its settings. So I figured you can change it in some games.

Don't they list it in the subscriptions node on the left side of the setting screen? Not close enough to check, but my weak ass memory seems to think I've seen it there.

 

Reporting in on the controller firmware update. It has greatly improved my connection stability. I've only had one small disconnect since the update and it was one of those one where it just flashes the message "your controller isn't connect" for a second and didn't actually break any connection.

Yeah I've updated my controller too, not entirely sure what the update has done, but my controller does connect a lot faster.

Like trip said its in the settings. Go to settings, down to subscriptions and it has the expiration date.

I felt so good unwrapping it all.

Was quite shocked how big it actually was. but I ain't gonna lie, it looks extremely sexy still. It fits my entertainment center so perfectly.

 

Have not got my copy of DR3 yet so now i'm just staring at the thing as it downloads Sunset Overdrive and Dragon age. Still need to nab a copy of Forza Horizon 2 as that is my need list.

Congrats ! I got mine at Christmas, and I love it. I installed Dragon Age a few days ago, but I've been too busy to play. Hopefully this weekend I can see what it has to offer.

If you pay the bills, i'd advise you to enable instant-on or whatever. I have no problem sacrificing my xbox turning all the way back on in 30 seconds to get my low electric bills back.

Since i need to keep my headset receiver plugged into my XB1 for it to work can i use an USB adapter that has 3 USB slots?

 

Also whenever i try and use the Game DVR or Twitch i keep getting an error message telling me the video can't record or it can't broadcast and to try again later.

 

Anybody else have that issue and know how to fix it?

You probably have the DVR turned off, check your settings. Twitch only works if you have your privacy settings set to 'Adult', which is ridiculous.

Yes, you can use a USB adapter to add more ports.

Well Upload Stuido 2.0 is apparently getting rolled through!

 

There are a ton of new features including a expanding the clip length to 30 minutes, custom intros and kinect green screen just to name a few!

You had me at this. Good f*cking game, Microsoft. The one and only reason I was jealous of PS4 was their ability to record for up to 15 minutes, compared to our measly 5 minutes.

The game DVR still does our measly 5 minutes. It's just you can edit clips to longer.
