If you're part of Xbox Live Rewards program, they do this. Your credits get deposited in the form of cash at the end of every month, I believe.

The Xbox One is really irresponsive sometimes when it comes to quitting and starting games. I quit Dead Rising 3 cause I wanted to play it on my second account, but then I couldn't restart it. Then I tried to shut off my Xbox but it wouldn't fully power down, the light just kept blinking for like five minutes until I decided to pull the power plug.

You should have let that light blink. Eventually stuff would have shut down. I fear something might have been updating on your sh*t now. Now I'm scared.

 

As far as the free money. It paid for my $30 version of Sunset as well as the past bunch of movies. It was at like $40 but I've been taping it and then it seems like a little chunk shows up. I think it was at $19 when we rented a movie the other night.

Oh yeah, that's what it was called... and that sucks ass. I liked the story but I loved going in on co op strikes, errr firefights.

 

I've never really had any problems with switching games and/or profiles. Are you part of the preview program, Bio?

Xbox's Game DVR blows. 5 maximum minutes of recording is a complete joke to be honest, it took me forever to construct a 15 minute Sunset Overdrive clip due to the upload processes and such. I need to get myself the Elgato HD60 soon, as I'd love to record some proper gameplay and a lot more efficiently.

psst ps4 allows recording 15 minute gameplay for free and you can edit it using ShareFactory PS4 app. This video was created with this app. Is there something similar on XO? I'm curious

The Xbox One has Upload Studio which is the Xbox equivalent to Share Factory on Playstation but Upload Studio is complete crap, you can only do minor edits such as cutting a clip. Edited January 17, 2015 by SimsDaniel916

Yeah, I don't use it, but it is nice when you wanna share clips with people on the Friends feed. I enjoy going through people's posted stuff when I'm bored.

 

But if you're really serious about capturing footage or streaming, a periphery device is the way to go. All this proprietary software for both consoles is pretty much useless for capturing extended gameplay, so I don't use the software for either console.

I hate whenever you insert a game disc into the Xbox One and it begins installing the game, it always asks you if you want to download the patch too or wait. I wish there was a setting where it just automatically downloads the patch when the installation of the game begins.

What do you do when the message pops up? Do you download the patch at the same time that the game is installing or do you download the patch after installing the game is completed?

That wouldn't work, because when installing the game you're really downloading it from Xbox Live.

I've been really tempted to fire up the 360 to play Borderlands. I started playing the TelTale Borderlands adventures (or whatever it is called) on the One last night and now I want to play the game that inspired it and all. Edited January 20, 2015 by trip

Trips, Gearbox just announced the Handsome Jack collection lol. It won't be including Borderlands which I find to be stupid.

Sweet. I feel too weird when turningon the 360 and my PC is so far away. Hahaha. Looking forward to playing the Handsom Jack collection on the One. I took a stab at Borderlands on both the PC and 360 and just never played through.

So watching the Windows 10 press conference and you will be able to cross play between PC and Xbox one on certain games. Also you can stream gameplay to your PC and surface pro! Awesome stuff. I have been thinking of upgrading from iPad to a surface pro and I think this might be the push I need to do it.

With all DLC in the game already it's kind of too good to ignore, and I've played the life out of Borderlands 2.

Thinking of selling my PS4 and buying an Xbox One. Ever since leaving GameStop with the PS4, I swear to god it just felt weird, almost a little wrong. I miss the Xbox controller. I miss the Xbox environment.

 

I think I might jump ship once Quantum Break is out.
