Chariot will stay and Vulgar (whatever) will replace Crimson Dragon. Crimson D (hehe) has been available for 2 months now. Chariot was Octobers game with gold so it's only been available for one month so it will stay for another month.

Me and my buddy are actually going to do that today. He has a half-working PS3 we're going to try and use. Honestly, I think Microsoft will be more willing to put an Xbox One in his hands than care about the condition of the PS3, because what the hell are they going to do with a PS3?

Only problem the console has it's that one of the side thing came off which exposes the area that shows the hardrive, I hope it's not an issue since the console still works 110% perfectly.

 

I've never shipped anything before either and I just received my shipping label, etc.. crossing my fingers I don't mess this up.

Oh, so you live in the NYC area? You can backpack it if you're going to go into Manhattan. Ebola risk on the subways is worth the $100! I'm on the Jersey side, so I'm going to try the one in Wayne, because the one in Paramus is closed on Sundays. The problem is that the Wayne one is a specialty booth, not exactly a store. If they don't take it, the closest one is in Short Hills, and f*ck Short Hills on a Sunday.

 

Edit: So just an update. We took the PS3 to the store, and they wouldn't take it without a controller. We told him the controller was broken, and he then said all he needed to know was whether or not it "looked" alright. Meaning, the controller could have been broken, ie. broken analog stick, but they just physically needed the controller in hand. I have an extra controller that I was going to give my friend to make the purchase, but apparently they were sold out of the white Sunset Overdrive bundles, so he decided against buying it for now. I tried checking the inventory of the two other stores in the area, but they're also sold out. The bundles are selling like hotcakes everywhere apparently. After checking a few Gamestops and Best Buy's, not only did they not have the SSOD bundle, but no bundles were available.

 

I guess that's a good sign for Microsoft, but it's annoying when you're trying to purchase one. My friend decided he's going to wait until they get more SSOD bundles back in stock. I'm also looking forward to going back to the Gamestop in that same mall and harassing the cute girl behind the counter.

 

Me: Do you have any broken PS3 controllers we can buy for like $10 or $20? It's alright if it still has Cheeto and Dorito residue on it.

Hm, when you pre-download a game is the download size the same as if you were to install it from a disc?

You still have to wait till midnight on the west coast. Games don't unlock until 3 am est. It says that in the description of the game when you pre order it digitally.

WoW MoP and now Warlords coming up.

 

Also went to Watchdogs but then I went and turned it in during Madden 15 release.

I seriously hope we can pre download GTAV. If we can't, that is going to suck balls. After the whole pre download leaked audio files they had last year, I can see them not doing it. Being as how Rockstar is so God damn secretive. Hopefully we will hear something about it soon.

Microsoft normally announces pre-load details a week before the games release so we'll definitely find out soon.

Only some games are adjusted to EST. COD: AW and Halo are EST, but Assassin's Creed Unity is not. Depends on the game.

I'm considering it. Pretty much done with destiny now. I beat the raid and really don't want to pay that much money for naked DLC. I've gen 10'd titanfall and the new update doesn't bring me back. I haven't enjoyed call of duty since black ops 1 but this looks like it might change that. I've been strictly xbox since the 360 and I got a hand-me-down ps3 from my brother in law for my bday and I'm finally getting to play the last of us and mgs4. Then after that it's ACUNITY and from there I don't know.

Yep, then COD won't fail you. I've already had a quite few 'WTF' moments. Couple that with the fact that I haven't played an FPS in months, and it's even more frustrating. But no worries, it's just our brains rationalizing how much we suck.

Just an observation I had the other day, but I was playing COD with the TV app snapped and I realized it muted the in-game music. This is a good sign that there will probably be an ability to our own music in-game using the Media Player app. When I tried to open the Media Player app in snap, it said I had to use it full screen, so it's only a matter of time until it's snapable.

You can play music in snap with the right app anyway. Hopefully it'll be able to be played in the background rather than snap though

Was gonna play some Advanced Warfare but Xbox live is down. I can't even play single player... Why do I have to be connected to xbox live to play the game?
