Forza horizon 2 demo just showed up for download.

 

Looks great except I have to wait a few more hours before I can be home and playing

I noticed FF15 was coming to xbox one. That's pretty cool considering it's history. Also, I couldn't seem to find an official release date but noticed Target has it under a 6/30/15 release date. Which is a Tuesday. Common release date in the states. Wonder why I can't find any articles on it.

When in the f*ck is Microsoft going to release a wireless mic like the 360? I mean ffs man. I just want a chat headset, I'm not the type of person to use the big ass audio headsets. I hate wired, I really f*cking do. The stock one that came with the Xbox on mine is already f*cked up. I guess because it takes the jaws of f*cking life to remove it from your controller and over time I must have worn the wire loose by gripping every f*cking thing on the connector to pull it out. So now I get spurts of static.

 

I don't know if I should shell out the $25 for a new flimsy ass wired one or continue to use this piece of sh*t until some mass miracle happens where they release an official wireless Xbox One chat mic version.

Wait for a wireless mic or shell out the cash for a high quality headset. Cheap headsets aren't worth the trouble.

I have wired turtle beaches for the 360 but I never use them and it's just a hassle having 10ft of cord and plugged into the TV. Would they work with the one? Being it's USB or whatever?

We also get to keep the option to download Super Time Force. Hurraaaay

 

The 360 on the other hand are getting some good ones. Starting on the 1st we can download Battlefield:Bad Company 2, which I'm hyped for since my 360 destroyed my two copies. And on the 16th we get Darksiders 2.

I dunno, Chariot looks like it could be a fun little throw-away title. I doubt we're going to get anything "good" on XB1 until probably mid-next year at the earliest unfortunately though.

 

Some good choices for 360 though. I didn't get to play much Bad Company 2 (I only had it briefly at the end of it's life, so to speak) and not yet played Darksiders II.

I'm so f*cking sick of platformers.. if I wanted to play platformers, I would go and hook up my NES or some sh*t.

 

Darksiders I was awesome so I'm amped to get DSII when it comes.. atleast 360 is doing something right.

I'm not going to complain about the free game(s) this month. I could but I won't. The reason I'm not really paying much attention to them is we are just about to get flooded with big time titles. Good sh*t releasing left and right over the next weeks, months, and all that.

Look, Games For Gold and Playstation Plus games that are free, does not make or break my day to be perfectly clear . It is simply a small......very small bonus to me atleast.

 

Okay, so pretty much we are going to get nothing but these indie/arcade titles with Games For Gold for a while I'm guessing on Xbox One. Yeah, the Xbox 360 is getting some decent titles, but...............this is a long but................we are getting decent titles for the dying console and not the console we want. Anyone else see this pattern? Not just MS. PS4 is no better on what games comes out for them on Plastation Plus either. PS3 is getting decent titles, but again, for the dying console and the console we don't want. Guys will sit there until there blue in the face and tell you X1 and PS4 will get good free games here soon. Not going to happen, and I mean good games as in something that is still $39.99 or up at retailers and is not indie/platformer/arcade. The truth hursts but I'm not getting my hopes up anymore for Games For Gold or Playstation Plus for Next Gen's that is. I just hope they don't start giving out last year version of sports games as well. Like if the new Madden comes out in Aug., we would get the previous year Madden in June. Them hoping it builds us up to go out and buy the new Madden or something.

 

edit: In October PS4 is getting Driveclub for PS + members for free. It is a very small version, only 11 tracks and 10 cars total. Then you have the option to buy the full game. Other words, not exciting.

I would have to second this. It would be nice for a AAA title that is $59.99 to be discounted some. I can't see them ever going 50% off, but anything would be better than those free games there giving. There probably more on the lines of something thats $59.99 to be $39.99 or somewhere around that.

Weird to see Sniper V3 on sale already lol Must not have been as popular as people thought. I seriously considered scooping it up but after thinking, not sure it's worth the $33 .. Sniper V2 was fun, sure.. but still, those games to me don't seem like they're worth more than $15-20. Just highly repetitive nut shots and cranium animations.

 

Also, I played Chariot (GwG addition) .. not too bad but way easy.. they need to hurry up and give us RYSE or some sh*t as a GwG.

I like the quick price breaks like that. I picked up Tomb Raider when it was on sale and happy that I did because the game was surprisingly good.

 

Ryse was also a surprisingly enjoyable...at full price even.

 

I have a weird mental issue when it comes to renting a game. Never in all of my life have I ever rented a game.

Can't say that I remember the last Hollywood Video/Blockbuster game I rented though. I do remember renting the Deadliest Catch though........ TERRIBLE! lol

The last game I rented was when I was like 8 years old. I rented the 2002 World Cup game on the original Xbox.
