And let us all remember that this version will support .mkv files. I just need the network support (on the way) to get here. I just added every episode of MST3K to my NAS.☺

On the way but I haven't seen a date yet. I believe .mkv support is slated before network shares.

It's crazy how I had more games during my SEGA days and all than I have now for current consoles. We made our parents spend some dough! ha ha.

 

Yeah, I don't get why people complain about $60 these days either.. considering games are far more advanced and entertaining these days. Actual plots and backdrops, animations that are neat, games that you can use your body to play, RPG that have endless hours of fun, the list goes on.

 

I do find myself complaining about free games though on occasion, especially the last two games on Xbox. I'm just not a big indie game type of person.. so my opinion is really based on that.. but it's like damn! now I gotta wait another month to see if a game comes out that I can actually see myself playing.

 

I rather MS bring back some classic games or some of their Platinum Hits.

I've always fancied a few platinum hits remastered. As long as they're not absolute balls like last month I'm ok with the games for gold.

Yeah, 360 was releasing some great games for free.. now it's just the new indie trend taking over. Kinda sucks.. maybe once more games are released on the One we'll see a change. But for now, I don't expect to see remastered or ported games coming our way any time soon, not for the One anyways. I haven't turned my 360 on in awhileeeee.. did they have different games with Gold or same as the One right now?

 

By the way, it's Double XP Weekend on BF4 if anyone didn't know. GO RANK THE f*ck UP! It's the birthday today so I'm about to go stock up on some cold beer and get cracking.

I believe its Dishonoured they're giving away at the minute on 360.

Dishonored isn't too bad, I played it and never finished it though.. it's pretty much like Bioshock Infinite or Thief, if you're into those type of games.

Yes, but this feature is a hit and miss. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Youtube finally loads more than 10 videos in the my subscription section. No need to use the sh*tty play to tv feature.

 

That's a big deal for me, I prefer the Youtube layout on the Xbox vs the website.

 

 

Also, while I'm posting here, people that brought Minecraft on the 360 should get it for free on the One. $4.99 isn't much but it seems like a complete cash grab to pay for what is basically a game update.

Additionally, you can transfer your favorite Xbox 360 worlds and content to the Xbox One Edition so you won’t lose your creations.

Because all your character sh*t is in the cloud; theoretically you should be able to play your character on any and every platform.

They say we will use the Rock* Social Club to transfer Online character. Xbox 360 > PS4, as well as PS3 > Xbox One. Me myself will go Xbox 360 > PS4. I had the same question when they first revealed it at E3 this year. They say while on stage that it will be transferable. I'm also making a prediction that when it does go Next Gen, Online Heists will magically appear.

I like how the media player and my tablet can work together. Can stream my pictures/music/videis right from it to the One.

 

Now its turning more into an all-in-one system, which I prefer over having a minimal upgrade to graphics that the ps4 gives.
