Wana know how to skyrocket demand on an item?

 

Example: Flu shot season of 11'- Everybody is scrambling to find a flu shot b/c they were warned by the media that there was a shortage on them. Everybody wants one. Must have one.

 

Flu shot season 12' - No warning of shortages anywhere in the media. For some reason no one wants a flu shot that year. Down 40% from the previous year.

 

This is an excellent sales tatic. Tell someone they can't have something and they want it ten times more.

I was just answering him , I think you actually know who's RedX , after all you were here from 2010 .

The guy loves to throw sh*t as a bad thing when on the other hand he doesn't actually have any thing to do more than look and find the bad things on the other consoles , I enjoy both the PS and the Xbox .

Also the Youtube vid I took it from was from the same channel he took his vid from , I'm just trying to make him realize that he isn't something more than a close minded.

Contacted a friend who works in a Tescos near to where I live, and told her that I was looking for an X1. She told me that the had none in stock atm, but once they did she'd reserve one for me.

Have you read his comments on youtube? He return the Xbox One 2 or 3 days later and even said he enjoyed the PS4 more.

 

Both consoles have hardware issues and what I find funny is kinect thought that some flowers were guest.

 

This is the comment he made: @Hum Greezy, it won't let me reply to u, the PS4 was more fun all day, Kinect or should I say X1 was more of a headache the 2 days I had it. I can't say there is a significant graphics advantage but ghosts and BF4 def look better on the PS4. The difference is def there

"For the record I restarted the sytem 3 diff times and it was still makin that noise, I didn't dare try to stick a disc back in there. I'm not gonna contact Sony, I babied the damn thing and it couldn't even last 3 days...I'll buy one next holiday season when the probs are sorted out and they actually have games. Did I mention it wobbled" , this is what he said about the PS4 , yeah his PS4 doesn't even work......

Managed to get one yesterday. GAME contacted me yesterday saying they had an xbox in stock and they would keep it for me.

 

I only have fifa at the moment and pretty impressed with that so far, not really sure what games to get.

That's the risk of buying a Next Gen so early. Both PS4 and Xbox One had bad disc drives.

I don't think so. Only the PS4 and 360 can be used through the HDMI port, but it doesn't make a difference. In fact, it's the worst gimmick on the console. Even if you could use the Wii U through it, what would be the point? You're using the same hardware, no high resolution or upgraded textures or anything like that which wouldn't work anyway, because it's impossible to work like that. It's really stupid tbh.

NBA 2K14 , Ryse and Dead Rising 3 . and if you have the option : Forza 5

 

 

Fair warnings here. From what I have heard about 2k14 from the fanbase, it's basically the same as 2k13. So if you liked 2k13 you won't like 2k14. Same goes for Forza, if you liked Horizon you will be severly disappointed. People say Ryse is a good game graphically but it gets mixed reviews. Some say it's mediocre others say it is good. Dead Rising 3 got a pretty good reception and seems like good fun.

 

I'd recommend BF 4 and AC IV. AC IV seems to do very well on NG so does BF 4.

Both are good consoles. PS4 is more powerful and cheaper but One has a better interface and is good for entertainment. Unless you have technical issues you will enjoy the console.

 

What worries me about the on though is the fact that when games start pushing it's limits, it's weakness and less powerfulness will start to show and the PS4's exact opposite will show. By which hopefully MS release an equally powerful model.

You cannot compare Horizon and the other Forza games, Horizon was a spinoff and it was never meant to be a "simulator" in any way. Of course Forza 5 feels different, because it's a simulator racer and not a arcade racer.

 

So far I have:

-CoD Ghosts

-Dead Rising 3

-Assassins Creed IV Black Flag

-Madden 25

-Forza 5

 

I have to say that Forza 5 feels like a big let down to me...and I'm a fan of both arcade racers and sim racers. If they want to lean heavy towards the sim side they need something to make it feel a bit more exciting. Even the the tracks seem to have a blandness in look to them...Which there is no excuse for when running on next gen.

 

 

Aside(since this is the X1 topic):

I can never go back to having to change my tv input, turn on my 360, wait for the controller to sync, wait for the dashboard to load, and navigate to a game. I can no longer live without voice commands. Watching tv with the wife and she leaves the room - "Xbox go to dead rising 3" and I'm instantly playing DR3. Wife returns "xbox watch tv" and we are back to tv. "Xbox go to dead rising 3" and my game instantly pops up (in pause) right where I left off.

 

Sick of playing DR3...Right in the middle of play "xbox go to assassins creed iv black flag"...bam! Asscreed IV loads up.

 

People love to mock the kinect, but there is no denying that this new kinect is way better and pretty f*cking cool once it becomes part of your day to day.

Trip you just made me eager to buy the Xbox One but I don't have a HD TV.

 

It actually sounds worth it, especially as I have never tried a console before and the exclusives sound tempting, it's just a bit pricey. But I could get one when I go to work but that won't be for another 10 years ha ha by which the Xbox two would have released.

 

Also, I heard BF 4 is really sick on the XB 1 and PS4.

I have to agree trip the voice commands are something outta star trek. I can view my friends list, then goto Netflix if no one is playing a game I like or goto tv and watch a bit of TV then I can go xbox turn off all without even turning on the controller it's very well implemented.
