All they have to do is change those triggers and I'll be their newest customer. Xbox sucks sh*t, I recently started to develop some hatred for it. It's always f*cking with me...

Just because you don't know how to use the system doesn't mean you have to hate it.

So this was uploaded:

and like this particular youtube comment says:

Tomorrow (the 16th) they will show about the ps2

The 17th- Psp

The 18th- Ps3

The 19th- Psvita

The 20th-???? *cough* ps4 *cough*

It might be just that, I mean we'll see soon enough.

UPDATE

Here's the guy who took that new pic of the controller saying bout it:

The triggers are much more similar to the Xbox 360 'springy' triggers. That's a microphone (similar to VITA, Wii U) and that is also a headset port. Touch screen is resistive display, single touch, used for battery levels, friend lists, mini u.i blah blah. Taken a while ago, only had access to it via someone else.

I was just about to post this video. It looks like they are building up to the big one - bring it on.

Some of my best memories came from my PS2, I am glad that it got so much success.

That controller design looks awful, sorry.

It looks like one of those cheap madcatz designs or some sh*t.

I hate the analogue sticks being right next to each other, always bumping my thumbs together.

I hope XBOX keep their sticks similar to how they are now.

What a sh*t excuse for not liking the analogue sticks

How is it sh*t, it's not comfortable for me. That's the perfect reason for me not to like them. How can I be accurate if the sticks are so close that I keep bumping my thumb tips together.

Xbox's stepped sticks keep that from happening, I can also use the Dpad with my right thumb. It's a more practical controller all round.

Bumping your thumbs together? What the f*ck? Ive never heard that complaint before or had a problem with it myself. Maybe you just have giganto thumbs.

Well yes at 6 foot 3 I do have large hands, and Xbox caters to us tall/large folk.

Holding a PS3 controller feels like holding a lollipop stick.

And just because you never heard it doesn't mean it's not true or right.

I have large hands as well, I guess I just have more the tips of my thumbs on the controller. I don't see any instance though where you would move both sticks inwards at the same time that would cause bumping, I just tried it and I am just spinning in circles if I do that.

The knuckles of my thumb rest comfortable over the sticks.

I don't use my thumb tip on the stick, therefore there is overlap when both sticks go inwards.

With could be something as simple as looking left while turning right.

I could have never played "Skate" on PS3.

If I can be bothered, I may take some pics later on.

Lol we don't need pics, you just explained exactly what I said. "I use the tip of my thumb more."

That's a weird way to play though, you would be more accurate if you used your tips because you have more of your thumb to steady the controller.

I might still consider it though if they keep the springy triggers. The thing I hated about the PS3 was that even if you used a third-party controller, you still had to deal with mushy triggers; no one made a PS3 controller with triggers that felt like the Xbox 360's triggers.

Springy triggers are only good for shooters, soft triggers are far superior for racing games because you can control your speed much more easily, that was the whole idea I think with Gran Turismo being one of the leading exclusives early on.

It'd give me permanent claw hands.

The XBOX suits me.

BUT seriously WTF were they thinking with the black and white buttons on the original, i hope they dont try to implement anything similar on the 720.

I don't agree with that at all. I had Gran Turismo 5 on my PS3 prior to selling it, and I have Forza 3 for my Xbox 360 right now, and I always felt like I had superior control of my speed with the Xbox 360's triggers than the PS3's triggers. With the PS3, I have to exert so much effort into pushing the triggers that it's hard to find much of a medium between full acceleration and not accelerating at all, whereas with the 360's springy triggers I can easily fluctuate my speed. Even if I put only a tiny bit of pressure in, I can still accelerate just a little, and I never felt like I could do that with the PS3's triggers - they always felt like all or nothing. Shooters are a non-issue for me because I never plan on playing either a first person shooter or a third person shooter on consoles, the only exception being something like GTA V where I quite frankly don't have a choice (at least, I won't initially).

There's really nothing that will ever make me like the PS3's triggers. They left an awful impression on me, and I know I'm definitely not alone in feeling that way.

Do those handles seem disproportionate to anyone else? The left one under the D-pad seems to be jutting straight downward, while the right one is angled backward as it is on the DualShock controller as we know it. They just don't look symmetrical. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

I see it, it looks too fat on the left side. Even if the bottom shadow is there, the top of it seems fatter.

It's just because of the perspective.

L2/R2 is much better for racing games, though GT5 uses the joysticks by default.

To me that's just really stupid... I couldn't be asked to change it so I sent it back to Gamefly (i was renting)

Pretty sure it takes 3 seconds to change that.

Me thinks you didn't know and returned it without realizing.

just wondering what the chances are that it will be possible to play PS2 and/or PS3 discs on the PS4?

is the console likely to be region locked? or will it be like the PS2 where a PAL PS2 UK disc will work on an Australian PS2 console which is also PAL?

thanks
