Hopefully that base Vegeta comes from the sayian saga, with his power level visor. I miss those things. Speaking of which, I wish the characters had better bonus skins rather than just recolors. I know his current outfit is what he wears in Super or something, but he doesn't look near as intimidating in it. I also would love Android 17 as a DLC character. Besides him, I don't really like any of the leaks besides the ones below, and Vegito. Base form Goku and Vegeta is such a lazy idea, and I've never enjoyed Cooler a whole bunch. There were some leaks that I believe were confirmed to be fake, but I guess this one might be real since Broly and Bardock are in. Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed if these are all the DLC characters: Broly - Nothing against this one. Bardock - I'm just wondering how they're gonna make his move set interesting. Base Goku - They could do some interesting stuff like Kaioken and Spirit bomb with him, but still it would be the 3rd Goku in the game(or 5th if we count Bardock and Goku Black). Base Vegeta - I did always like the look of saiyan saga Vegeta and they could give him the Oozaru form as a Super. But again tho I'd rather have a completely new character. Vegito - Nothing against this one Zamasu - He's already an assist with Black. Android 17 - Same as Zamasu. Cooler - I haven't even seen the Cooler movies except for the TFS versions of them. He never struck me as particularly interesting. Janemba supposedly has some cool powers so maybe that would have been better as far as movie characters go. Where the f*ck is Roshi?!?! I've also finished the first part of the story and started working on the 2nd part. Loving it so far, even though the main plotline itself isn't that good. I couldn't care less about this whole linking business. It's unnecessarily complicated. Those waves would've been enough. I'm getting goosebumps every time when I see Cell's kamehameha attack, probably my favorite special move. If I absolutely had to pick my top 3 characters, it would be Teen Gohan, followed by Vegeta and Cell. Gohan is a beast. However, I enjoy playing as the complete cast. Kaiju Blue Posted February 27, 2018 Share Posted February 27, 2018 The achievement you get for having 530k BP is insaaaane, I find it almost weird that they put 100% completion behind a skill wall like that. Last I checked, at least on XB1, only the top ~150 players have a score that high! I've managed to reach 340k but something tells me I'm about to hit my current limit. What teams are y'all rocking BTW? I'm sh*tty and don't really care about team synergy so I just went with whoever I liked, so ended up with Hit/Black/Beerus. Dunno about synergy, but they're the ones I got familiar with in the beta and I haven't bothered to learn the others too much. My most played character outside of them is probably Gotenks. I don't understand however why I should bother with getting everyone's link to the max. Those bonus link cutscenes are by far the worst thing about the game and I won't grind clones for an eternity to see those. You've already said this, multiple times in fact. Definitely not looking forward to this. Pros: None Cons: everything. They went for a japanese manga feel to it...Major fail. Not everyone is into the whole manga hentai fan culture thing...I love DB, DBZ and GT, the budokai games but the new stuff like Xenoverse and DBS is just all off. I watch the new DBS coz i have to, and in japanese coz im not gonna wait years for the english version to catch up; but im really hating the jpn aspect. And yes, i know the shows and games are japanese.... The graphics are terrible, probably to cater to the whole manga comic book sort of thing...again. Not to mention, the graphics overlap during fights (it has the street fighter feel to it). I dont understand how ppl find that appealing. You cant see how the blasts and punches/kicks connect.... The game is not 3d. In budokai, with the game being 3d, the fights felt longer paced and more strategic. "Hmmm should i atk now or wait for opening?...Maybe if i sidestep, will he rush me?" It felt like chess. It took the power of intellect to determine the overall outcome of a match, and pure skill to succeed in the quick bouts. I feel like if i play this game, some player will just use a char that has the biggest blast graphics to obscure the screen so you cant see sh*t No transformations either?? Like MGS, GTA, Elder scrolls, DBFz are trying a new spin on the game and its pretty bad.... That is by far the weirdest and most asinine critique of any game I ever read. And saying anything in the Budokai series is like chess makes me wonder if you actually played the games. And I'm not sure how it's "new spin" when just about ever dbz game before the Budokai series was in fact 2D. and i really love how out of everything you read, you only picked out that tiny fraction of my critique therefore not having any influence on your response. I said it had a chess element. Are you telling me that when you played Budokai, you and your friends just rushed into bursts fights and button smashed and hoped for the best?? Um...what about taking time to figure out your friends weaknesses(is bad on playing on other side of the screen)/characters weakspots? Or about taking time to be on the correct side of the character when coming in for an attack or for gathering Ki? I dunno but it sounds like you enjoy the extremely fast paced dragon rush aspect of the game only? Well, the other DB games were horrible, so horrible already that they needed a major overhaul. They were unplayable. If it aint broke, dont fix it. If it is, well, then fix it. The 2D is only ONE aspect. This isnt really a discussion btw us , its more of a nitpicking sort of thing. I didnt realize i was on the Dr.Phil show...I was just offering my input to the game. Let us focus on this as a whole, shall we? The hentai was part of a joke I have out-of-place humor And I dont see how you could possibly tell me what I did and didn't like about any dbz game when I hadn't mentioned such. Also, everything you listed in defense of Budokai in your "chess-like" statement can be said for 90% of fighting games, regardless if they're 2D or 3D. Thankfully i ended my sentences with question mark and not a period, otherwise that would make it a statement...phewww...that was a close one The fighting looks like lag to me. Like some framerate issue. Its the classic style, similar to streetfighter. It should be more fluid. Off topic but thr most fluid fighting game i can think of for an example is Tekken Sigh....im not comparing it to tekken dude. I even said it was offtopic. All i wish is if they made the fluidity equal to the budokai games and not all stuttery..heck even xenoverse has budokai-level speed of fighting Take your sh*t troll attempt somewhere else, like here or here. Have fun talking to yourself. Also, they already did make a HD remaster. I kinda wanna get more into it and learning different characters and such. Sadly I just don't really have the time right now, because of my studies and I've got other games I wanna play as well. However there have been some rumors about a 2nd season that maybe includes Roshi and some more stuff from Super so it might not be that big of a deal. My only ""complaint"" is that Zamasu seems extremely difficult to use effectively, which is a shame since as a character I definitely prefer him over Vegito... who, on the other hand, is super easy and intuitive to use. Both look amazing. No season pass from me though. I don't want to spend all that money at once. I rather just grab the characters I want once they release and pay little every time.
