Well if you are alone or with just one or two buddys thats easily doable. However, if it is a lobby with 10+ crewmembers its much easier to simply kick the oposing players than relocating the whole 10+ people.

How is it an organised crew of ten or more of you can’t deal in game with one or two randoms?

You wanna be a little bitch and call me entitled? Well, I'll have the game's main process frozen before your Hydra icon is even on my minimap.

You're irrationally triggered by every single person that happens to land in your lobby regardless of level or intent, and are prepared to completely leave the game at the first hint of trouble, but I'M a little bitch? 'K...

Still, you managed to get my point. It's what I've been saying for several threads now. If finding (/creating) a new lobby is so easy, then why don't you do it? Instead of kicking countless people, why not simply kick yourself? You're doing just that, and I'm very ok with that.

And if you activate off the radar or ghost org, thanks for the signal to leave!

In that instance, I ousted you from the lobby before you could oust me. You tried to hold on to a lobby and I took it from you. That's a big, shiny W in my book. Now we both get jettisoned into the clouds and have to find new lobbies. Had you left me alone, we could have peacefully coexisted. You'd have quickly forgotten that I was even there.

It's super satisfying lagging myself out, even if I'm not paying attention, the moment a rocket hits me I'm putting it all on pause! Gee, if only this game had an option to play the game with friends, like... all the other games I own. Don't even try to tell me about invite only lobbies, I want to play the game, not the game with most new content and missions blocked.

Again, I don't have a problem at all with you lagging yourself out. I encourage it; especially if it keeps you from bouncing every single player you encounter back into the clouds.

Ah so the easier option is the way to go then? I'll remember that next time a low rank player is AFK and I want to pad out my KD... What a piss poor excuse!

Well why use the hard way when there is a easy one? Thats how the world works im afraid (and one of the reasons for a lot of humanitys problems). And what you described (afk killing) is something that regulary happens in gta online.

In a session with that many crew members a single player joining should not pose an issue, certainly not enough of an issue that 10+ crew members couldn't handle without giving the player bad sport points and forcing them to load a session again. Are you that intimidated by a lone player? God help you if a crew ever joined, with a minimum of >50% of players voting to kick for it to work and the ways to extend the time in the session, with his friends who you wouldn't be able to kick for a while after, yeah - let me know how that goes for you...

Well one person is enough to f*ck up a sale and/or turn a lobby to sh*t (like we see in a bunchbof posts in this thread). There is enough broken and unbalanced stuff to succed at this task. The good old passive otr hydra that swoops past your defense jumps out of passive mode and blows you to sh*t, the explosive sniper rifle that gets you from a distance. Its not the well planed ambush that gets you, its the hidden surprise attack. Mines from the gunrunning vehicles stay a while. Put a few of them down on one of the main highways and sooner or later a cargo transport will run into them.

Like I said my crew and I do not kick. We make hostiles leave because the only distance they can move is the distance the game respawns them at. But we are well organized, we have more people than we can effectively use in orgs so there are always some unoccupied people who can deal with hostiles in the rare case we get attacked (Only a few IGN and MP3 memebers are dumb enough to start sh*t in a session with 25 people who have the same crewtag.). Smaller crews do not have the "force" we have so they use the kick to keep their safety.

It's on YOU to change sessions if you find yourself in one which you can't manage, not the players who, unwillingly ended up there.

Well one could argue that the other people where there first.

Like I already said to ninja, the whole kicking thing is far from optimal but the players who do it are not the one to blame. The one to blame is Rockstar with their sh*tty bussines practic of public only combined with their: "Go kill dat dude doing a sale to get 2k and make the other guy loose money so we sell more sharkcards. KTHXBYE" message. Without these restrictions the players would have no reason to kick other players.

@Molio

Its not like they cant deal with them, its more that they do not want to deal with them.

Not everyone is into PvP and every single PvP encounter also cost grinding time. Like i said, its was easier for smaller crews to kick you than to make you leave by force (aka hunting you until you leave).

Yellow Dog with Cone

Oh man, just when I did had fun in GTAO in a long time joining a car meet...

No ammount of planning or backing up can do anything against someone decided enough to ruin your day.

Sure, however playing smart will reduce the odds of that someone being in the session to begin with. Yes there's a chance they may join while you're doing your 5 minute sale however by the time they join, check the session and get whatever toy they need you're almost done, by the time they get to you, you are done. Then you deal with it however suits you best - find new session, ignore the player, attack the player. All three are valid choices.

You know I'm always going to say it's perfectly possible to sell in public, you have seen the videos, you have heard the statements yet you tend to feel you can completely ignore them. I guess it must be because you rarely play in public, as you have mentioned numerous times, which pretty much makes your opinion invalid since there's little to nothing to back it up.

Rather than complain about what you think it is like, perhaps you should actually check what it's like from time to time.

Sure, playing smart reduces the odds, but doesn't stops the possibility of someone actually attacking you. Also, changing sessions until finding a safe or empty one, while effective, is time consuming.

Selling in public sessions is actually possible, in the right conditions. Maybe is very bad luck, but almost all the time that I tried a sale in a public lobby, even a low populated one, there's always an smartass who runs for his Hydra.

I never ignored your videos and statements, I acknowledged that you're right, but you're actually ignoring that if someone wants to destroy your cargo, things can go haywire very quickly. Also, I did played enough in public lobbies to have an opinion on them and know how easy is to get sales destroyed.

Also, our crew only lobbies are technically public lobbies, so I do play in them all the time.

I would love to actually defend my cargo sucessfully in a public session if the game was actually balanced, my teammates got well paid for backing me up and the game let me choose anything aside from a Titan, a Post Op van or a Dune FAV.

Seriously, it's 2017, I can't believe it either, Take Two is greedier than ever, the game's updates only focus in new shiny toys to f*ck other players and people keep destroying cargo for the salt or whatever.

And you still play why? Oh, I remember because you want it to get better or something along those lines... knowing full well Take Twos intentions.

I didn't knew that wanting a better game overall was an exercise in futility. Also, honestly, who gives a flying f*ck for what Take Two wants?

If your kind are as smart as they claim, you should combat other grieferd and trolls instead of other players trying to make ends meet. You're not smart, cunning, a badass or whatever, totally the opposite, you're being played like a damn fiddle by R* and Take Two's prerrogative.

If I'm being played let it continue. I'm having a blast. You assume "our kind" don't attack other greifers and trolls, that's very misguided.

Good for you that you're having fun. The thing is that some of us want another kind of fun, and R* (or Take Two) is adamant on giving us the finger and grouping us with players who's concept of fun is totally the opposite to ours. If they intend for us to fight for our fun, well, make an even playing field then.

Surely it's best all round to just lag out again though?

I know how quick and easy it is to lag out, I used to do it, it takes 5 seconds to do. It's quicker than voting to kick, it saves you time, it saves other players BS points, loading times etc.

If you want "your" lobby so badly, lag out again and make it yours again.

In PS4 we did have a way to lag ourselves from a lobby (the date glitch) but that got patched in the Gunrunning update, so unless you're lucky, you have a kill switch or a dedicated app, it's not so easy to lag out on purpose, at least for now.

Voting to kick when the player has done nothing to you is as much of a dick move as blowing up cargo or holding off a player who is attempting to attend their business being raided. Any dick move will generally result in retaliation. It's common knowledge that you cannot be kicked while doing an activity. Vote for a player to be kicked and expect a job to start up and retaliation to happen.

It's a dick move, no doubt about that, but barely on the same level. Some minutes in Cloud Simulator vs hours of effort lost for $2k is not the same thing at all.

Ah so the easier option is the way to go then? I'll remember that next time a low rank player is AFK and I want to pad out my KD... What a piss poor excuse!

Well, everyone always goes for the easiest, fastest and cheapest way anyway. I mean, why give a CEO a fighting chance in an unarmed vehicle and a Micro SMG when you can jusg grab an Hydra, an Oppressor, finish in 2 minutes and call it a day?

In a session with that many crew members a single player joining should not pose an issue, certainly not enough of an issue that 10+ crew members couldn't handle without giving the player bad sport points and forcing them to load a session again. Are you that intimidated by a lone player? It's on YOU to change sessions if you find yourself in one which you can't manage, not the players who, unwillingly ended up there.

People don't get kicked by sessions of 10+ people because they can't handle them, they get kicked because their mere presence attracts more non crew members to a lobby, which most of the time brings griefers and tryhards to the lobby. The game's matchmaking only works efficiently in freemode it seems.

Actually.... when I lag myself out, all that happens is the game comes to a complete halt for ~10 seconds, and then poof, everyone but me is gone. No loading screens!

That might be how I handle it when alone, but when my friends are with me, we kick people. If one person joins, we kick them, if more than one joins, then we find a new lobby.

If only someone would allow people to play the full game without being forced to interact with others ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's understandable why people would decide to start kicking with all the a-holes who play this game.

I don't do it because it makes no difference since I'm not in a big crew... Maybe I'll join a CEO-friendly one.

Eh. I got kicked out and the kicker got lagged out. Either way, everybody's session is getting disrupted. I'm still OK with that.

Exactly. I get a kick notification, and I'm starting up work and inviting everbody I've ever met online. I'm finding a new lobby, y'all are finding a new lobby... Everyone gets a new lobby!

Hmmm, where's another multiplayer open world car and crime based game where you can drive and customize vehicles and airplanes and guns and play PvE?

Anyway, I'm done with this troll den of a thread, who ever changes someone's opinion in an online argument anyway?

What you are doing is some slimey sh*t. It happens far too often to be justified. While it's only a slight inconvenience for my copy of gta on a Samsung SSD, you could be costing a kid on a toaster like ten minutes. Honestly, I'm pretty disgusted by your justification.

Well, if SOMEONE would give people an option to handle their businesses with their friends, then none of this would be a problem. Instead of that, the people who want to have cheap targets and the people who want to play with friends are getting into fights, because we have to resort to not-so-nice tactics to stay alone and safe. :/

You don't get to play an adversary mode with one team... It's just not in the game's design. You should, as a human standard, not f*ck about people and their time. There are plenty of pve modes that you don't have to worry about competition. Besides, you already have your script kiddie menu loaded up. Why not stand in a corner and pour $2k pink dildos on yourself? Enjoy the game as a cheater should. If you have some sick compulsion wherein you must kick people, why not be the Robin Hood of kickers and boot the other sh*tty modders that are using their menu for pvp and crashing lobbies?

I'm not holier than thou either. I cheat cash all the time. I just think what you are doing is far worse than you admit. You rob people of their time and, as we all know, time IS money. Ya see, you're a thief. While killing someone or stealing their cargo does deprive someone of time, it's time they agreed to wager within the confines of the game they paid for.

Edit- alright... i may have jumped the gun with this post. I may be mistaken about what you're doing and responded as such. If you're not using a menu, I'm sorry. If you're just using your mtu settings or whatever method of your choice to lag yourself out, there is no problem and I'd apologize for causing further confusion on the subject. Anyhow, I'm done with this flame fest. Yes, I'm triggered by the mod menu send to story mode BS. I don't think there is anything wrong with using the kick feature in the game. "It's in the game."-EA

I don't think y'all have a whole lot of allies other than your close group of friends and crew mates. Y'all seem to do a great job of alienating and pissing off anyone and everyone you don't know.

And FYI, I'm not speaking about every member of your crew. There are many fine people in it. I'm speaking about the losers who continue to vote-kick, set bounties, send muggers, and report me to Rockstar. The first three don't bother me really, it's actually nice getting free money. But y'all can collectively go f*ck yourselves for trying to get me kicked off the game for cheating, something I've never done and spoken out against since the day I signed up for the forums. That is absolutely pathetic.

All I want is friendly lobbies without cops.

Invite only/Crew/Friend session, don't do anything wrong, you get a friendly lobby without cops.

I mean in public lobbies, just like in IV. If it worked out great over there, then it should work great over here.
