Ignore it. It's a form of congratulations for doing a good job, so be humble and don't let it go to your head.

Certainly don't cry about it or get mad. That's a baby's reaction.

Just leave, there is no point in disrupting a lobby full of people that don't want you in the first place.

You're wasting both your time and theirs if you try to grief them back as relatation.

Seriously, people who suggest that are reinforcing the very same behaviour that they're against.

Since when was it "their" lobby to decide who is wanted, and who isn't? The lobbies are public.

Being griefed then is almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy for these people. They vote to kick before even any contact in an effort to pre-empt being attacked, then get attacked because the vote-to-kick winds up the person being voted, so they attack in retaliation. Thus the voters get handed to them in spades what they thought they would avoid.

Well, the game works on a Peer to Peer connection, so technically, the host "owns" the lobby.

See it this way:

A group of players ask politely any randoms who join the session to leave, most of them comply. The few who don't get kicked.

One of them doesn't, gets hostile and griefs the session.

Now, the very same group will kick randoms on sight without even giving a chance of letting them leave on their own.

Another random joins the lobby, griefs them, launches a VIP job, invites his friends and ruins the lobby.

Now, this group of players will not only kick on sight, also will attack unprovoked and outright grief anyone who lands on their session.

It's an never ending cycle that could be easily avoided.

I don't believe that the peer-to-peer hosting nature of GTAO gives players ownership, technical or otherwise, of the freeroam public lobby areas.

It is a never ending cycle, I agree with you. What I don't agree with is that any one demographic holds any more sway or rights than the other in public sessions.

I don't care....for the most part. Always funny when you find a empty session to yourself, random degenerates join and try to boot YOU out.

Yeah, nothing really lends players ownership of a public lobby.

The thing is that if R* refuses to let players grind in peace in Invite/Crew lobbies, well, players themselves are doing their own Public Invite/Crew lobbies by force, affecting other players in the process. It's sh*tty, but it works.

Now if players try to kick you because they're afraid of griefers and then you grief them, well, you're proving them right.

Suuuuure, because it takes so much skillz to destroy a shipment within the security of an Hydra or an Oppressor.

Righhhhhht.

I spend most of my time in my Hydra doing Headhunter and monitoring the session for any griefer activity, so whoever votes to kick me is usually an ignorant mid-level who assumes I'm like the other Hydra pilots that harasses low levels and CEOs/MCs.

I ignore it and keep playing.

most players are morons.if you are in a session with one other person and he voted.send him a message.that's what i did.and he answered "ok".

i've been kicked for flying to the office in passive mode.people tried to ruin my day by putting a bounty on me.then they invite a friend.and that moron starts chasing me.there's nothing in gta online that makes more angry than this.i believe some of them are PCEO people.Peaceful CEO.what they do is ,they invite their kind to the lobby and they start trying to kick people out so they can grind "Peacefully".what Rockstar should do is remove the kicking feature and shove it up those moron's a$$holes.

here's their link so you can see their moronic rules

http://www.pceo.online/rules/detailed-rules

i really wish Rockstar remove the kicking feature

How do you react when this notification pops to your screen?

Depends who's in it. If I have crew there, I won't do anything. If it's all randoms, lag myself out.

Throw on some Motorhead and start up Fully Loaded. Give them a real reason to kick you.

GAUNTLET HELLFIRE

It depends if I really wanted to play I just get myself another solo public lobby but most of the time I just find another game to play. If it's an a**hole that tried to kill me and voted to kick as soon as I got a Buzzard I report them. As soon as 2x I/E stopped I stopped going into public lobbies and the last 2 or 3 weeks I have only played a few times so I don't have this problem anymore.

Just leave. While it would be great to annoy them, it would be a pointless exercise. You'd become a pawn on r*s board and proves the owners of the lobby right. They aren't looking for a fight, and you probably weren't wanting one. Sucks, but they were there first, and wouldn't be a problem if we were allowed to do this stuff in peaceful lobbies.

Just move on.
