Interesting. Have you ever considered that rockstar just won't ever add the exclusive radio stations? Seems a bit too optimistic. If it's done and works as advertised why not release it?

I'm not the one who decided on that, and R* did mention they're gonna add the stations soon

And people who play mp are gonna downgrade to patch 8 as that's where most of the players are

Rockstar also said they were gonna add GTA 5 single player dlc... so I don't really see any reason to trust their word.

 

Regardless, I'm glad its being done. Its about time something is being done about all of these broken game versions.

After another long wait here's an update which I'm 99% sure has more changes than I've listed here but I've been working on it in my spare time since I released the previous one not really expecting it to ever be released, therefore I didn't write the changes down

Note that you can still get the old sco version as this definitely breaks things (and doesn't have mouse cursor)

Menu's now completely running off an .asi again, depends on ScriptHook but only for native calling as the hook itself is custom
Menu options no longer reset when changing lobby or going to SP
Changed Rainbow Car to a Set Car To Rainbow option
Added Rainbow Traffic option
Added Explosive Bullets option (note: doesn't work with snipers if fire type is delayed hit)
Added Kill/Explode menu
Added Teleport All Peds/Cars to Me option
Fixed Remove Depth Limit breaking aiming
MP Functions now also displays outside of MP
Native Caller is now able to call any native with any parameters
Re-added Fix Niko Clothes (in Memory Editing - Multiplayer menu)
Added fixed SP in MP with all SP features (has no spot that crashes every time but has random crashing instead, patch 8 only)
Added Reload Files menu (currently has timecyc.dat, fonts.wtd & fonts.dat, hudcolor.dat and hud.dat, patch 4 & patch 8 only)
Added Set Platform ID menu (pretty much a 100% chance to crash, it's for testing, also patch 8 only)
Added Player List allowing you to see all players in the lobby (including the ones who have left) along with their XUIDs
Made the Stop/Start options in SCO Loader seperate
Added Lock Peds X, Y & Z Axis options (patch 8 only)
Added Coffin Dance option
Added Move when Zoomed toggle (patch 8 only)
Added Remove Killzone toggle
Added Show Damage Taken (with optional hit counter)
Added support for unlocked weaponinfo limit by adding 255 potential weapons to the Give Weapons list if it's detected
Added all prop model & texture groups to Clothes menu (textures are patch 7 and up as patch 4 and 5 don't have the function for them)
Added Invert Right Stick Horizontally option (in Memory Editing - Options - Custom) (patch 8 only)
Added Fix Very High Shadows FPS option (patch 8 only)
Added Shadow Tweaks menu with cascade settings and customizable shadowmap resolution (some parts of it patch 7 & patch 8 only, others also support patch 4)
Added support for Patch 4 (1.0.4.0) and Patch 5 (1.0.0.4)
Removed mouse cursor as I couldn't get it to work with asi no matter how hard I tried
Added better Freezegun Protection (automatically applied)

support for older patches but not for newer patches. nice unless someone is playing on a cracked version or still lives in the ice ages and uses a disk to play the game nobody will use or care for this mod

From what I heard in the speedrunning community, you can't downgrade the game now without a crack. "because 1. launchgtaiv.exe doesnt exist in the new version 2. steam doesnt take care of securom anymore".

You do know people can downgrade to patch 8 from newer patches, right? Theres no point in supporting the newest "patches", they just get f*cked up by rockstar eventually. At least patch 8 and below are safe from Rockstars wrath.

There are multiple mods to circumvent that iirc. Specifically I think ZolikaPatch is one of them.

most people wont go through the effort to do that. And the only reason i came to this menu was because i found it when it supported the latest version of gta 4 (patch 8 at the time) and didnt feel like downgrading, if i did go through the process of downgrading i just used simpletrainer. Leaving this menu in a weird spot where the whole point of this menu for me at least was i dont have to downgrade to use it however if i do downgrade there are better choices available. Leaving this mod menu unused for pretty much ever.

Everyone does it for the older gtas, I don't know why IV should be any different.

You do know there are scripthooks out there for patch 8 and above, right? If you don't want to use it, that's fine, but calling it useless is just rude. It's just another option for a trainer. You can use, this, SNT, both at the same time, whatever. Options are good.

im just being realistic, simpletrainer is one of the most well known and legendary gta 4 trainers. this mod has lost its entire appeal for most people, so why use it?

EDIT: Released a hotfix v16.6 as the trainer seemed to be running twice per frame on patch 7

Released v16.5
Added Start SP in MP with SP Features Method 2 which breaks some things like flashing name and displays a static counter in the top right but fixes things like TBoGT (breaks chat in tbogt) & TLAD and QUB3D scores
Added Ped Blips & Car Blips
Fixed Explosive Bullets on patches other than patch 8 (probably)
Fixed potential crash on patches other than patch 8
Moved Unlock Car Max Speed 2 to Misc - Fun as Unlock New Entities Max Speed
Added Unlock New Entities Max Speed support for patches other than 8
Fixed Weapon Info editor for patch 5 and 4
Added Spawn Options menu for peds with a godmode toggle and weapons
Added back all keybinds
Added ability to change keybinds via .ini
Added all symbols to all input dialogs

Released v16.7
Attempted to make trainer run on all unsupported versions by falling back to the original scripthook thread
Fixed SCO Loader menu locking you in
Added Custom Spread Multiplier option (patch 8 only for now)

Provided scripthook for patch 8 and eflc patch 3 (since people were unable to find them on their own, note that you need to delete scripthookhook.dll for patch 7 and below)

Released v17.0

Changed archive setup so the patch 8 scripthook isn't included with the main files and is instead in its own folder like the rest
Added Custom Recoil menu (aim punch, it scales with to your sensitivity so change the multiplier accordingly if using someone else's config, e.g. a config made with full sensitivity needs a 10x multiplier for lowest sens)
Added back Change Gamemode menu
Added Object Wallhack option
Added Prop Texture menu for patch 4 & 5
Added Custom Spread Multiplier for patches other than 8

not saying gta 4s multiplayer was bad, but it got boring too quickly, not much else to do other than play a few modes and kill people in free roam. seems to me like you have your head in the past and cant look at whats in the future or present. its not 2008 anymore

I would rather play something that gets boring slightly faster and has less variety than play something that encourages micro-transactions or endless grinding and intentionally gives tools designed to be abused by griefers. Challenge: Make a new gta online character and try to have fun in a 2020 GTA Online atmosphere without shark cards. Not fun.

 

To be fair I don't even play GTA Online anymore, my main issue with new IV updates is that I refuse to use the Rockstar Launcher spyware.
