Seek and destroy mission last forever even after destroying the van.

Is small and white 'mission passed' text intentional? Usually people use that big yellow text similar like main mission.

There's a problem with a text that says "leave the area" which doesn't appear in that mission, i forgot to fix it, but just know that, just like in gang convoy, you are meant to leave the area in seek and destroy and most other missions.

You forgot to add 'if and' on keypress activation state. It makes us able to activate it without using TAB.

I found another weird bug. Targets of 'Beat em up dealer' mission are four copy of CJ??

Excellent mod but in the mission Beat em up: Dealer, all of the enemies have the CJ player model.

hi, so my game has been crashing after i try to load a game in where i have previously make any of this mod missions and saved, i'm using a buch of your other mods, do you know if there is conflict or something with any of them?

Please fix it, this mod is one of my favorites.

Doesn't happen in my game, i'm 100% positive it must be something else, but if it makes you feel better, there's a new version coming soon.

That's where the game is checking if you have left the area after killing the objectives, you have to go 200.0 meters away from the corpses, there is a possibility that something you are using is turning the actors into random pedestrians by removing their references, and then the mission ends up not having a corpse to check, so the game crashes.

This is an hypothesis, but i really see mods, that catch a lot of peds, removing their references after using them, damaging other scripts that may be doing the same, or damaging pedestrians created by scripts, be carefull with those.

Well my guess was correct so I increased the time corpses stay before despawning (Via MixSets) since I thought it could be the corpses disappearing that made the peds obsolete. I haven't really tested it that much since it happens rarely. But could that also be the reason besides other CLEO mods?

 

Can you script it so that it checks if that actor is assigned, before checking it? And if it's not, it would just count it as a mission pass? Or if that's not possible, making the script get the location of the actor first, and then keep checking the position, and not the actor. So when the actor gets their reference removed in some way, it'll not crash since it'll be checking the position instead of the actor. That would make the mod compatible with badly written mods, or the game itself(?)

 

EDIT: Also can you capitalize "i"s in the dialogue subtitles with the new update? They really stand out.

Surely i'll capitalize them.

 

The game doesn't erase created actors, it only does with random pedestrians, it's other scripts that do it, actually i use mixsets myself too, the value you changed, doesn't affect the dead bodies in my mod.

I have to do it with the corpses, because wherever there is a corpse there is a crime scene you have to get away from, it's logic my man, i won't change it.

Well, technically the position it's going to check is going to be the same position as the dead body, meaning the crime scene (Unless the body has been moved somehow which will take the body away from the crime scene and causing complications instead). But, I'm leaving you to it.

there are nine dead bodies, if i get the coords for each, those are 27 vars that i would have to check, nope, still a bad idea.

Only one of them then, it doesn't really matter. And isn't the game already checking for the corpses' coords anyway? How else is it supposed to know their location?

Seek and destroy crashes the game. When destoyed the target, nothing happens.. So i just drive away or go away from the truck or car. But it crahed when i go far away. Sorry for my english. Please Fix this.

And can you please give me a list of your cleo scripts? Thank you. Because i love your taste for mods.

Maan, I like this so far, seems really good :D compatibility with my Big Gangster Mod would be epic, especially if you could use gangs and weapons from it. I got myself thinking, you know what would be epic? A Most Wanted type of missions for GTA SA, inspired by GTA IV, in each city if you'd enter a Police Vehicle you could click a button to bring up a Most Wanted list, and there would be 10 targets per each city to deal with. What do you think? :colgate:

It is compatible, it just doesn't use the assets from that mod. I had that idea in my mind a while ago, but, i'm not modding lately, not in the mood for it honestly.
