Vehicle Cargo help

Okay what is the best way to do this? I was told that that the 10-10-12 method was the best way to do the car collection but then I read that I needed to have 10 standard and mid range cars. I currently have 34 cars in my garage 10 standard 11 mid and 13 top. It was my understanding that I would only get top range once I got all 32 but that didn't happen. So am I doing something wrong or that's the way it goes?

10-10-12 method means that you need to have all mid and low range cars in your warehouse, not top range.

It always forces a range of which you dont have all vehicles if theres any.

Check for duplicate vehicles in all ranges (do you have two T20s, two Cheetahs, two Zentornos) - sell any duplicates.

Source until you have 32 cars, you should end up with the 10-10-12

Sell only top range.

Source vehicles will only be top range as long as you do not exceed the 32 cars.

For instance, source until you get 32 cars.

Sell a high end, i.e. T20

Source a car, it should be a T20

Sell a high end car

Source a car

Repeat

The source car should always be the same as the car you sold last, unless selling with friends, then it would be one of the 2-4 you sold.

If you source when you have the full 32 already there you will get a duplicate which can mess things up. I did this accidentally not long ago and was sourcing low and mid range cars while I was expecting it to replace my high end I just sold. I found I had two cheetahs in there. Sold one, fixed the issue.

That's your problem right there. You need exactly 10 standard and 10 mid range vehicles (one, and only one, of each car), and to never go above 12 top range. As long as you have more than that, you'll get 100% random cars each sourcing. Sell one of your duplicate mids (there should be one car that you have two of (unless you've been stealing cars from other people, in which case you may have more)) to bring that down to 10, sell whatever duplicate tops you have, then sell one more top (bringing you down to 11), and you should be good. Whatever that last car you export is will then be the one you acquire in your next sourcing mission. If it isn't, then you still have a duplicate car in there somewhere.

Thanks so much for the help. I already sold the duplicate top car so I just need to sell the duplicate mid car. So before I get another car, I'll need to sell that mid car and another top.

That should work.

I need to go back and have a good look at what I have as the 10-10-12 method is not working for me, it started after the sales bonus period for selling car ended.

I bet you have too many low end cars. Due to how the game registered them as mids during the event. It really looked like it was a pita keeping track of what was what during that week.

That is probably a good guess, and I think you are right, I might be over by a couple on the low/mid .

Didn't even think about that, but I think you're probably right. I thought it was annoying that the low and mids got an upgrade in classification during that time (yay for having to scroll thru more cars when filtering just top end /sarcasm).

Straight up the only thing you need to do is hold on to your Standard and Mid-range cars until your (no specific number of each) warehouse is 50% full of them. After this point every car sourced will be Top End. I do not use the 10 10 12

All Top End cars you get in-between filling the warehouse up 50% should be sold asap. There are 0 Top End cars in my warehouse when I source a car, only standard and mid range and percentage full is 50%. I force the game to have to give me Top End every single time and it has NEVER failed to give me Top End doing this way. My signature is my channel link, feel free to check it out and see that during my streams I always get Top End when sourcing cars.

Hope this helps.

The 10-10-12 method was working perfectly fine for me before the bonus sales for I/E, that messed everything up for me, so I gotta through and get it sorted

This.

I too only have 10 standard and 10 mid range in my warehouse and all I get to source is top range. For a while I only had 7 standard and 10 mid range and for like a whole month straight I was getting top range.. Like 50 sources were top range in a row. Sure was strange but I didn't complain :)

It doesn't matter if you have 5 vehicles in your warehouse, or 35. If you only sell top end, all is good. Anyone that tells you that you need to count all of your low end and mid range cars is wrong.

OK, so firstly everyone is describing the same trick, no matter what they're calling it.

Collect all 10 unique Standard and 10 Mid models (which is 50% full..) and then you're only going to get Tops (until you have all 12 of them). That's it.

So you can get to 50% and keep selling the tops and never get to 32.

Or you can get to 32 and then choose which Top you get next by selling it. So if you need D3VIL but have C4R4M3L, sell caramel.

Creds (note the average selling price is >100k and this is before the recent double week)

I have no idea how this works for you (probably blind chance so far) but it won't continue, I'm afraid you've got a wrong idea somewhere. If you have 5 top ends in your garage and you sell a top end, there's 20 S/M and 8 Tops you might source next.

Simple, if I fill my warehouse beyond 80%(so 12 t-r, 20 mid/low), the next car will be mid/low range. I tested it several times.

Right now its 78%, and I know for sure, the next car is going to be an ETR1, because other 11 top ranges are already sourced.

Me too, and you do get Tops as well, it's purely odds: 20 non-Top and 12 Top. So you can source a 13th or even 14th+ top, or just change session if it gives you a L/M. Not much point going above 32 though imo.

It's simple. Let's say you have 9 cars in your garage, 3 low / mid / top. You only sell top. You don't sell low or mid. You don't need a set amount of cars in your warehouse. People who say you need 32 cars before you start selling are wrong.

In short, steal whichever cars are allocated to you, but only sell the top range.

I had a time where I would get 10 top-range cars in a row and then got a mid-low

UNTILL I used the 10-10-12 method.

100% top range after that.

Sorry, but I think you are wrong.

So basically after disagreeing with everyone in the thread, you follow it up by agreeing with them.
