Very quick I/E question.

So I said I wasn't going to do it, but I bought the damn office and vehicle warehouse.

How many hours of playtime am I looking at to get all the low/mid cars sourced and be able to move on to the good stuff?

At 32 cars in the warehouse, you'll have one of each unique make/model, at which point you can sell and source only high end cars if you wish. Sourcing cars probably averages 10-15 minutes each. Faster if you have a Buzzard and Cargobob.

Although you can sell high end cars straight away. If you only sell high end, you'll eventually end up having sourced all of the low & mid cars, you just won't have to wait ages to start earning money like you will if you fill the warehouse and then start selling.

If you average 10 minutes per source +3 minutes of cooldown to source the next car non-stop, you will be looking at 260 minutes, or 4 hours and 30 minutes.

 

And can cut down on that time if you own a Cargobob, but then you will have to work extra to pay off the investment.

Hint (only tested on PC):

If you don't own a Cargobob, but find one at a helipad, if you steal it and land it on your office helipad and enter the office using the shortcut key, that Cargobob will not despawn in your current session. You can keep using it, landing at the office will repair it each time, and it is more robust (withstands more gunfire) than a hangar-stored personal aircraft version.

You won't have an icon marking its location, so you'll need to remember where you parked it if you get a source mission you cannot Cargobob (e.g. the point to point race bet) but it beats spending the GTA$ if you don't have one.

Grind the f*ck out of it and it should only be a few hours, yeah.

 

Cargobob + solo session, if you can. Biggest I/E tip is ignore the pursuit, esp if grinding. They shouldn't do more than a few K damage, except maybe some of the choppers. See the knowledgebase thread if you're not sure about cancelling pursuit in most of the missions (don't be spotted etc).

 

Steal 2-3 cars and then sell a High End if you have one, to keep earning. Repeat.

 

It's worth it - Top End I/E is the best thing in the game, pretty much, for earning while in freeroam.

Say 7.5 minutes x 32 = 240 minutes or 4 hours.

Number of steals to get there is random.

In that case 20 x 7.5 = 150 minutes or 2.5 hours max if you are unlucky enough not to hit a high end car within the first 20.

 

Realistically, 4 or 5 cars max before high end, you may even be lucky and hit one straight away and until you get up to the 10-10-0 it will be a case of possibly having to do x amount of steals before another crops up.

 

 

Or just steal them from other players.
