Can you skip a day with daily objectives?

I believe Daily Objectives reset at midnight EST and you get bonus cash and RP when you complete theme for so many consecutive days in a row. I know the days are "real life" days and not in game days, but what if you don't play games every day? If I skip playing the game for a couple days will that count against me?

You can safely skip a day, as long as you dont login into Online.

Yeah I had the feeling that I skipped a day or two on advice I read on here and I had to start from scratch.

Thats because it was. The whole point of Daily Objectives is them being "daily". You skip a day, it resets.

 

As mentioned above, they won't reset as long as you don't log in. However it isn't consistant and sometimes completely bugs your daily objectives.

Well dang it, maybe I will just do a burst of 7-days then just not worry about it. Can't see myself playing everyday.

I'd appreciate it if you could post back on here and let us know how it pans out, if you get the weekly and monthly bonus despite not logging in every day.

 

According to some people it works like that but I'm not sure myself.

Skipping daily objectives is the same as skipping school field trips. You do it and you're screwed.

I tell you what you can do, the full month, checking you did everything and then notify rockstar that you didn get the payout, only for them to be sh*tty with you and tell you, you are wrong.

 

Had this twice. Never done a single daily challenge since.

You can as long as you don't log on....

But it isn't completely reliable. Especially if the day you're skipping is the second to last, or the last day for a special bonus.... cause it WILL glitch and you won't get it. You'll end up getting the daily bonus instead of weekly. It's happened quite a few times to me

No. Have to start over. I don't know if it still works.

 

If you get some that can't be completed solo hit the home button and close the application.

 

They should reset.

 

This method was for Xbox one btw.

On ps4 you can skip a few days of playing the game without resetting your chain. Press the PS button while online in a lobby and put the ps4 in sleepmode. Next time you wake your console a black screen will appear that you're disconnected. Wait 20 sec. or so and accept. You'll load into a new lobby and you'll see that your daileys haven't reset and your streak is still going.

as far as i know they always reset at 2am, atleast mine always has.
