The Weekly Vehicle Showdown Week 21

Welcome to the 21st week of a forum game called the Weekly Vehicle Showdown. In this game, vehicles face off against each other in a forum poll. At the end of the week, the winner is crowned. The reign is short lived however, the following week, a random vehicle will be selected
to face off against the current champion. We will keep going until we cover every vehicle in GTA V and GTA Online, and have one overall champion. In the thread feel free to
discuss the positives and negatives of each vehicle, your opinions, facts, videos, pictures, whatever you like to strengthen your argument for why the vehicle you are voting
for deserves to win, and the other does not.

 

Rules:
If you post mulitiple photos or videos of any vehicle, use spoiler tags.
Do not go off topic. Discuss only the vehicles being voted on.
Be respectful of other peoples opinions.
Do not cheat; creating multiple accounts to vote, etc.
Do not vote based on the photos in the OP.
This is not a Snapmatic competition.

most loved cars of yesteryear exploded back onto the

scene and became an instant favorite but can it be

the favorite this week?

Long time hidden in the deep depths of the GTA underworld, a kraken rise from the ashes

of mutilated bodies of GTA online players and burnt husks of combat vehicles to

regain it's rightful place as king. The Hunter is proof that dreams and nightmares

do come true.

I think the Elegy is overrated, honestly.

Hunter is the first helicopter to have bombs, barrage, and customization.

 

It isn't the Hunter I hoped for, but great, nonetheless.

 

Personally I like helicopers more anyway, and I don't like the Elegy retro.

But that's my opinion.

Would be tough choice for me if it was slamvan custom or sabre custom vs hunter. I mean, i'm mostly car guy, and elegy retro nice looking model, handles great, sounds great, attention to details is astonishing, but its just not my cup of tea. Hunter on the another hand was and always will be for me huge flying part of gta universe (sabre and patriot aka hummvee too, but thats another story), classic aircraft which brings all good memories... So yeah, #TeamFlyingDildo

I'm much more of a car enthusiast than an aerial enthusiast, and I've said before that I think the Elegy Retro is the single best designed car in this game, but in the end it's still just a car. The Hunter is a trophy symbolizing the hard work and dedication of its fan base, who against all odds persevered and in the end, reached their goal. I have a lot of respect for that. Maybe it's bullsh*t, maybe Rockstar planned on adding the Hunter all on their own without any outside interference, but I honestly find that hard to believe. It probably won't win this battle, but hey - it already won the war.

Elegy Retro Custom - Pros: Sexy as hell, affordable, wheeeeeee driiiiiiift, competitive in races, great customization options... it's a staple of my "racers garage".

Cons: Synonymous with glitching.

 

Hunter: Sorry, after playing some GTA SA last night, I prefer it WAY more on the older gens. Sorry to all you, erm, attack helicopters, out there.

The Hakachou was cut content that we got eventually with not even a mention from the forums. Its picture is even found on a greeting card in the 7-11. I believe it was only a matter of time. Lately we've been getting lots of fan favorites from past gta's, Hunter was a no brainer imo.

I went with the Elegy Retro Custom due to my absolute love with skylines <3 <3

 

Since this is my first time seeing this competition thread I must ask.. why is a car being pitted up against an attack helicoper?? If this is the first time a car is going up against an aircraft, Imo I don't think it's a fair fight. I mean how do you compare a vehicle that is on the ground to a vehicle that can fly and shoot rockets?! Is maybe it's just me but I think that ground vehicles should be pitted against other ground vehicles, and aircraft pitted against aircraft.
