Painting the Jetsam Cargobob

I have the Marine camo CargoBOB and that only allows primary in paint, My question is can the white Jetsam Bob have primary and secondary like the one in the selling missions.

My customized Jetsam has been a pain in the @ss.

 

When using it for I/E deliveries the cutscene shows the Peg version, I get a black screen then my character appears on foot with the MMI "your personal vehicle has been destroyed" message.

Thanks guys I don't think I will. It one of the Jetsam versions after reading the problems your getting, at least my mat black marine version has remained stable, not disappeared and stays the mat black whenever I load the game, would have liked a two tone version but don't sound like it's worth the hassle

Don't know but, it's really annoying!! having payed extra for the jetsam version (500k if i remember) and then having it demoted to the cheaper uglier military version.

I put my Jetsam in my hangar and changed it's colors and never had an issue on PS4.

I had put my jetsam version into the storage (after changeing the secondary color) and it turned into a marine version.

I'm not sure, mine was fine in the hangar but as soon as i requested it from the interaction menu, it turned into a normal cargobob; I can also confirm that it's not the repaint that causes this to happen because I didn't even bother with the workshop yet

If you only have the Jetsam, customize it and then get the bug of it turning into the marine version, does it then appear in your Peg list? Effectively giving you the marine version for free.

So what exactly is this bug? Is it an issue on the Xbox? I have the standard one (from WAY back on the 360 in the early days -- only glitch I've ever done in order to buy one), but was thinking about getting the Jetsam finally, now that you can respray them as PVs (I do like my harbor blue camo though... but do wish it was available in matte, and maybe a bit lighter in shade). But if it's bugged........

 

On a side note, I'd say that it does make perfect sense that the standard cargobob only have a primary color, seeing as it is a camo paintjob (and thus really three colors). Mix-matching the colors would kind of kill the camouflage aspect of it. I kind of doubt anyone would miss a black, pink, and chrome helicopter flying around!

So what exactly is this bug?

The bug is, that a jetsam cargobob that you put into your hangar turns into the military cargobob upon restart of the game/calling it from the interactionmenu.

Its basicly impossible to keep a jetsam version stored inside of your hangar (both floor and storage).

No. If it's in the hangar, it's a PV. If you get rid of it from the hangar, it gets deleted.

 

Pegasus list has exactly the Pegasus vehicles you buy. You bought a Jetsam Cargobob, you'll have that on the Pegasus list forever. If you want the marine version for free, it must be stored in the hangar.

 

Not bad for the people who didn't buy that Cargobob before, if you ask me. Take advantage of this bug before they patch it (if so...).

Thanks. I should have known better than to think we could possibly get a free Peg vehicle.

 

But as you say, anyone who only has the Jetsam can benefit from this bug and get a free PV marine Bob before it gets patched.

 

My custom Jetsam has been glitchy af but hasn't glitched to the marine version in storage. I wonder if owning both Peg versions helps prevent it? Doubtful.

I'm on PS4, own two Jetsam CargoBobs (one on each of my characters on my primary J-Scott-D account) both repainted and neither have changed into Marine versions. I've never moved them into "storage" for what that may be worth.

I don't always export cars, but when I do, I prefere the Jetsam.

 

The Jetsam is more comfortable regarding its sound, if you plan to pilot it for hours, you better to spend a little more. Comfort matters.

wow, I read that in such a way it looked like if someone found out a way to make the Cargobob Jetsam look good without it reverting, Rockstar would patch that immediately.

Thats not a jetsam bob. Its a black marine one. The jetsam version does not have the front mounted radar, but the one in the picture clearly has. Edited September 10, 2017 by Black-Dragon96

I have owned the standard Cargobob since the URL glitch way back when, but I'm much rather have the Jetsam version. I'm on PS4, so it seems like this bug won't effect me.

 

Would the Jetsam be worth it?
