Yeah the Quantum Dot IPS is phenomenal. Basically OLED matching to bettering gaming performance with no burn in for about 33% less than comparative OLED monitors. Which is perfect for me, someone who wants superb HDR gaming performance but does 9-5 productivity work on one of them. Peak contrast is still better than most monitor tech, just not quite up to OLED standards.

Under £800 for a 160Hz 4K adaptive sync monitor with decent local dimming and great HDR is phenomenal VFM. I might even get one in 1440p for my productivity side to save myself a few hundred quid as they're physically identical.

There's another manufacturer, I can't recall their name, that does a 32" version of the Quantum Dot 4K panel. Dual monitor is an must for me because of work, but 32" is just a bit too big to fit two of on my desk along with my O11D-XL and speakers.

Anyone here know much about AV receivers? I've recently picked up another two Q Acoustic 2010is, a 2000C centre speaker and 3070S subwoofer with the intent of moving to a 5.1 setup in my office.

Most people run these for home cinema use using big 7.1 channel AV receivers from the likes of Demon, Yamaha etc, but these are far bigger than I want for desktop use and unnecessarily powerful (I don't need 140W per channel for a 3m square room lol).

I'm looking for something a bit more...compact. Requirements:

1) Needs to be a proper 5 channel amp with sub pre-out.

2) Should be smaller than 300mm x 300mm x 200mm.

3) Optical/Toslink input

4) Ideally a decent quality integrated DAC

5) No more than about 80W per channel, realistically 40-60W is plenty.
