Is there a way to make the camera autocenter weak ?Β 
also when walking back the camera its a little glitchy

I hope it's not too late, but I wanted you to add to vice city the ability to move when shooting and walk crouched these functions are included in vice extended 1.5 and it looks great would be that you use the animations of vice extended with the VC.CustomAnimsData.asi add-on to add the animations to see what would be the result.
Improvements
When aiming with the M16 or Kruger it would be nice to aim in first person, but using right click plus mouse wheel something like the manual aiming mod.
Well there were always problems with the swimming mod for both VC and III it would be good that in the water you lock the camera as in SA an option in the ini file.
Also that people don't raise their hands when you point the gun at them they usually just turn around or run away this is with the default setting of classic axis it would be nice if they raise their hands and sorry for my bad English.Β

Changes:

-Fixed an original game bug where aiming direction is always off on widescreen.
-Added support to MVL and Breakable Windshields (previous version).
-Added ability to crouch (GTA 3 only).
-Improved aiming camera behaviour.
-Fixed camera distance while changing zoom type.
-Added minigun animation while aiming (VC only).
-Added Field Of View change for high range weapons (Similar to SA).
-Adjusted aiming coordinates slightly.
-Forced sniper rifle, rocket launcher and laser scope to use 1st Person view (Fixes weapon.dat flags changes, fixes re:LCS).
-Fixed reloading animation.
-Added LCS/VCS pointing arm angle (disabled by default).
-Adjusted slightly vertical camera angle.
-Improved gamepad right analog sensitivity, added possibility to change it in the settings file.
-Adjusted gamepad trigger sensitivity when auto aiming (IV control set).
-Adjusted camera acting weird when player walks towards.
-Added possibility to change walk key and crouch key from the settings file.
-Fixed reloading speed when the ability Fast Reload is enabled. (Ammu-Nation Shooting Range)

Reload animations don't seem to work on VC.

Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder...

What does the unhandled exception says?

Show some crash log, and be sure you have 1.0.

I don't have the crash log, when the game reaches 100% load it just freezes and crashes

Ask swimming mod author to lock camera behind player when swimming script starts.

any chance to add an option to disable the zoom when aiming?

edit : oh god, the more I play with that option the more bothersome it gets, it feels too much SA like

I can now also confirm that reload animations dont work properly in VC, I think I will start using the previous versions of the mod for now

Reload animation works just fine, I’m pretty sure you have a save file with fast reload enabled, which reloads the weapon without playing an animation.

Understood. also, would you consider to add a variable in the .ini file to disable the fov gradual change (SA Style)? I liked it more when it changed the fov seamless when aiming (as in the previous version V.0224)

Previous version had no fov changes, fov interpolation has been introduced with the latest update.

In the future might be selectable.

When walking and press the button to look back claude’s head keep moving back and front. Could you fix it ?Β 
Update: after more tests i found out the issue is not from classic axis

Is it possible to adjust the joystick deadzone? I'm pretty sure it was in older versions of this mod, aiming in manual is a bit messy and not as smooth when compared with San Andreas' manual aiming.

So I just tested this with GInput and noticed that the right analogue stick Y-axis is inverted. The previous version I used was the last one where the Car Camera was still included and there everything was still fine. Could you please fix this or create in ini option? Thanks

Just inverting the right analogue stick in the GIput.ini is not an option unfortunately because that would invert theΒ  "SA & LCS Vehicle Camera".

//I just played around with the settings a bit more and noticed that the problem occurs only when playing with inverted controls. With non inverted Y-axis everything works fine.

Move the right analog stick, or press gently the shoulder key if using IV controls set.

I'm using the IV controls but I don't get the free aim mode pressing any button or moving the camera, I need it for mission where I need to destroy vehicles but if some npc is near the camera lock the target on him and I cant free aim...

Bruh, gently press the aiming button as you would in GTA IV.

when I aim its on target mode not in free aim and I can't swap between the two modes, idk why only do target aim, that's the thing

Howdy, it may sound nonsensical to make Classic Axis compatible with "The First Person View for VC" mod by GeniusZ (?) I was trying them together, when clicking RMB briefly go to do the aim animation but it's immediately turned off and just remain Β with the untargeted firearm (idle animation) so you can't shoot while aiming (in 3rd person view).


I mean is nice that Classic Axis dropped the 1st person view in favour of the 3rd person view, but what about have both of them?Β
