Why was vehicle camera removed?

I'm also getting a Trojan warning from Windows Defender when I try to install it.

Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder...

...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Because there is an alternative mod that does the job better already.

It's a false positive, I'll re-upload the mod if it's the case.

Thanks, I was unaware of that mod. You are right, it's better with the FOV changes at speed.

I think this update to Classic Axis could enable Tommy's dialogue when he threatens people, right? Since the crosshair briefly locks onto pedestrians.

Noticed bug in vice city

When you start shooting someone, they hurt and you reaim, it goes to auto aim on m&k

nvm, it automatically goes to autoaim whenever on m&k, not sure if design choice or bug caused by lack of ginput.

i dont have ginput installed, if that could cause issue actually :D

not sure if a bug or design choice, but auto aim is also enabled on m&k

First glitch seems like a 60fps issue. Keep Frame Limiter turned on if you have it disabled.

But in GTA VC it doesn't happen and being at 60 fps.  In both games I use Framerate Vigilante

There's your problem. Use 30fps or go ask whoever updates Framerate Vigilante to fix it.

I've some kind of request, isn't better to merge that vehicle camera to classic axis? Would be better to have everything in a single mod.

Bug#2 is incompatibility with the Project2DFX mod

And it would be great if you included being able to walk like in previous versions

Sure they will update it to be compatible with Classic AXIS

Old Man With No Name

Tested it both VC and III. Works perfect. you fixed III's AK and m16 animations so animation doesn't repeats itself while shooting like in vanilla. Thats great.

Also i noticed, while claude is manual aiming, his head is facing to right, not to his front. I guess it was a design choice

This would be removed in the next release, seems not a lot of people is actually liking this behaviour.

No problem, it was just a suggestion. Still, such a great plugin. I hope someday is going to match SA/LCS ped camera completely with all the fixing you are releasing lately. Since erorcun never achieved the ped camera but just vehicle camera.

It's nice you added auto aiming too, but it's kinda weird that auto aiming with mouse control makes the aiming crosshair dissappear.. Can u fix that?

I think it brings real feeling of the ps2 gameplay. It was same in the ps2(in san andreas too). So i think current version is better.

Yeah you're right actually, it works fine but sometimes the aiming crosshair doesn't appear when I aim so hopefully AG could fix that.. Sometimes it appears sometimes it doesn't

New release out now.

Get it here.

Changes:
-Adjusted head offset while aiming.
-Fixed an issue with rendering target
-Improve collision detection, makes pedestrian invisible if near the camera.
-Fix legs twitching while aiming with two handed weapons.
-Added settings file.
-Disabled auto aiming with keyboard and mouse (can be forced in the settings file).
-Added walk key button (can be disabled in the settings file).
-Fixed pointing gun transition between auto and manual aim.

Many updates have been made recently, and this I think could be the last one.

Of course if no other issues pop out. 😛

I think two things are missing

 GTA3

-Fix the camera entering cinematics or when they are respawn in hospital for first

 GTAVC

-Fix shooting or animation bugs that make weapons like python and buddyshot etc shoot very fast and reload instantly without animation

I don't think I'll be able to do something about this.

Both share same code, and this issue isn't present in GTA3.

I noticed that auto aim crosshair appears for second even with auto aim disabled on m&k

Is that on that list too?

Speaking of vc with lcs autoaim crosshair disabled

Why would you disable LCS targetting? 😛

Yeah didn't noticed this before, I'll fix it soon.

When using LCS targetting, the bullets are a lil bit offset from the middle of the crosshair.. Idk if it only happens for me but could you check it out?

The speed at which the crosshair appears and transition should be slightly faster, to speed up combat and keep firefights snappy. In my opinion.

It's actually already faster than SA.

I'm loving this more and more with each update! Truly making the work that was actually needed to make the games "definitive editions" instead of some garbage UE4 graphics. Thanks!

The only thing I wish you could improve for Vice City specifically is that when you aim the minigun, the cannons don't rotate (and there's no idle sound either). It's a nitpicky thing but perhaps you could be able to add it.

But the cannon does rotate in VC.

Edit: Oh got it, you mean when actually aiming. My bad. 🤦‍♂️

Edit2: Done, this was a quick fix.
