Jason
I'd love a IV remaster if they keep the multiplayer free roam the same, but allow us to import our GTA:O characters. SchizNitz, TheOriginalGunslinger and E•MO•TION

Spider-Vice
Spider-Vice: 9 Studios* Rockstar International is not a game development studio, they only deal with PR and such. Also, they're integrated into R* London: The publishing headquarters for Rockstar Games in the UK, Europe, Asia, Japan, Africa, Australia and South America, located at Rockstar London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockstar_Games#Current_subsidiaries Edited September 8, 2017 by Spider-Vice UltraGizmo64 1 GTANet | Red Dead Network | black lives matter | stop Asian hate | trans lives = human lives

eastriver
So it's been six years since I played L.A. Noire and I think I never touched the DLC, this might be my excuse to get the game for PC. Although the Newswire does not specifically mention the PC version of the game getting enhanced visuals, they did announce VR Files for the HTC Vive, which means clearly they've built upon the PC version of the game. My guess is that L.A. Noire for PC will get updated with the HTC Vive VR Files and with that update also get the enhanced visuals. Although this is just me guessing, we'll know for sure later. Jason
Depends how extensive the enhancements are, as PC already has 1080p, higher resolution textures, better lighting etc. If I recall LA Noire didn't run on RAGE, so any improvements would be ones they build from scratch rather than things they can pull from modern versions of RAGE. Be interesting to see what they've done either way.
Shadowfennekin
I'm seriously hoping this means LA Noire has a chance at becoming a full on series like Red Dead and GTA. Very underrated game. I love it. Hope Bully 2 is real, though hopefully without the PoS4 exclusivity BS I'd love it if GTA IV got a remaster next, maybe making use of the character switch wheel so we could easily switch between the characters more easily for those special walk throughs. eastriver
Anyone know the name of the Engine used for L.A. Noire? I remember reading it was a custom engine based on special motion capture features to accommodate L.A. Noire's facial expression features. Although I don't know how an engine based on motion capture translate into the actual gameplay of L.A. Noire. I don't think the engine ever had a public name. It would be a bit funny if the enhanced visuals were the higher PC settings from 2011 lol. Since I've never played the game on PC, I'm not really aware of the difference between the PC version and the PS3/360 version. Darealbandicoot
Do you guys think it would be a good idea for R* to call truth and doubt coax and force like in the beta and how its described in the manual? At least as a toggle or something as it would explain why Cole becomes aggressive and tries to force an answer when you select doubt https://www.google.ie/amp/s/www.engadget.com/amp/2011/11/10/mcnamara-explains-why-la-noires-cole-seemed-like-a-psycho/ Edited September 9, 2017 by Darealbandicoot

They'd still profit either way, and intentionally avoiding doing certain things or holding new games back in some way because they could "damage" GTA:O would have the opposite effect, it would damage their games and thus their sales/reputation. GTA IV remastered when GTA V is on top of every sales chart? If V had not sold 80 million and was doing badly then i get that (similar to Call of Duty MW remastered to support sale of Infinite Warfare) but that not the case here so it just a crazy idea. Any Non-GTA titles remastered will make sense. Edited September 9, 2017 by BLOOD

Besides, generations are long and there's no doubt a ton of people whose first GTA was V and would buy an IV remaster, plus those who would go back to replay it again. The idea makes perfect sense.
