Great performance from the 2011 title during its first UK week!

Makes me happy to see this. Increases the chances of another Noire game since they know there's love for a detective game.

A few examples of L.A.Noire VR reviews.

Sure, the game has flaws, but I feel that Rockstar Games has set the bar high for not just facial animations in VR games but in AAA games as a whole and I hope that whatever AAA developer/publisher decides to bring their IPs into VR carefully examines this game.

To refer to L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files simply as a VR port does it a disservice. In many ways, the game feels like a fresh experience with its new first-person perspective coupled with interactive environments. Despite its truncated length, you get the sense that Rockstar put a lot of work into The VR Case Files. It certainly has flaws, but raises the bar for what a good VR port should look like.

it makes an excellent case for VR conversions, and I see a bright future ahead of Rockstar if they can pull this off again.

Berlow is a short impression from a player on a gaming forum.

I ended up grabbing it even tho there was no sale, breaking my most sacred rule.

No regrets.

I've only played the first hour or so, but I've played it with a few different people and they all loved it.
The driving is surprisingly immersive, sitting in a chair and driving around corners fast feels kind of freaky, and the idea that you can drive anywhere in LA is really cool

Great job, Rockstar Games!

Kind of a shame they didn't finish the burglary desk and added it to the game but the cop outfit will do me just fine! You playing on a normal xbox one or the X?

I couldnt afford the Xbox one x but Im playing this on the Xbox One. Love the gameplay so far. I agree about the burglary desk. But the cop & crime desk are enjoyable.

Played L.A. Noire back in 2011, without any of the DLC's. Bought it again for PS4 a week ago, and i'm having a really good time.

The story is instresting and well written imo. Characters feel unique and believable. Also like the soundtrack / atmosphere of the game.

Would love a sequel but that's probably something, we'll never get.

A real shame.

Anyone else notice that dialogue cuts off awkwardly compared to the previous versions?

After all outfits are collected, I love starting a new game knowing I have them outfits. I know about the replay value in cases. But to start again & learn knew things, on top of it all..the story I love..Its a rare experience for me.

Anyone else notice more bugs since the latest update on ps4? No idea if other platforms are affected. They also removed the ability to skip the newspaper cutscenes in all new versions.

I skimmed through Steam reviews for the VR cases and the reviews are mostly positive with great impressions from players. It really seems that R* has come to the VR world with a strong feet. I will quote one review below.

Fu***ng YES Rockstar Games! Thank you!

This is by far the best VR Game I've played to this moment.

Now I understand why they took the time to rework the game and the cases.
There are only about 5 missions from the full game. But fully adjusted to VR.

You can litterally sit in the car and drive around. You can use your hand to reach over for the walkie-talkie, or to activate the siren with a "physical" button. You can even crank the windows open like in real life.
I already would pay 30$ only for the VR driving simulation this game delivers. For the first time, I'm actually following traffic rules.

Playing this game is so much more intense in VR now.
When people talk to you it feels like real life.
You can see your whole body, arms, wrists. No silly floating hands.
You have a full "presence" in this game, it feels surreal.

Please Rockstar Games! Add the rest of the game as well!
I'm honestly willing to pay 100$ for the full L.A. Noir Game to be playable in VR.

11/10, better than Fallout VR.

The remaster have the potential of selling another 7 million copies. Go Take-Two/Rockstar Games!

LA Noire doesn't even appear on either November or December NPD lists and it vanished from UK charts for the last 2 weeks. 7 million copies of greatness right there.
