Heavy Revolver- can't change tint

I cannot seem to get rid of the VIP variety of heavy revolver. No matter what I do, it always switches back to the gold vip version, I want the platinum one. I've dropped and rebought the damn gun and everything. Nothing works

I have the same problem, except my machine pistol doesn't want to keep its orange tint. It's been an issue for a long time. I'm almost certain it's something only Rockstar can fix. I would suggest making a support ticket, but Rockstar Support are totally useless, especially with "nitpicky" issues like these.

Right, there may be other guns. This is then only one so far, I will try with others later. Not that it's game breaking just mildly annoying
