Players in old-gen

Hi everyone. I'm new on this forum. I want to buy an old-gen console, but how many players are still active on ps3 or Xbox 360? I mean if I start a race or an event how many people will join? There are more users on ps3 or Xbox 360? Thanks in advance.

I still have my last gen system (PS3), but I haven't played GTA there in a very long time. However, I do remember that when I went back to have a look, I recall it being a lag-infested wasteland of despair.

 

Welcome to the forum and good luck, OP; last gen is dying more and more as time progresses. However, it does lack the things that sort of spoilt the game for me on current gen, so I suppose in that regard, it isn't so bad. However, as I said, it's a laggy mess and cheaters likely run amok there too. I'd pass, but I guess that all depends on how you like to play the game.

I go back to old gen from time to time. Compared, to current gen, old gen is much more simplistic. The ridiculous grind that is said to have gone too far isn't as prevalent. The "keeping up with the Jones' feel" isn't there. The exorbitantly priced stuff on old gen, you can live with up. But on current gen, you're going to have to buy some of the expensive weaponized vehicles if you want to keep your head above water.

I logged into ps3 about 6 months ago and got teleported to the roof of maze bank and showered with money bags immediately !

If so, the awnser is no.

 

The game is infested with hackers on X360 just like on PS3, the paid subscription to Live seems to not be a issue for them...Somehow.

 

I'm too spoiled with current gen, the graphics, content, first person view on cars, real stunt races, CEO jobs, I/E, next gen exclusive cars...I won't be going back to the mess that was last gen. And I recommend you to not got there either, hackers can actually get your account banned by raining money on you.

Ahhh, the good ol' days, when a million dollars was an insane amount of money. Back when the Adder was the epitome of wealth, hahaha. Now that won't even buy you a garage for your house to store your cars!!! Seriously, I decided to change the the number plates in my garage, and the game asked for 250,000 dollars. I laughed, and kept them stock. There's a reason my company is called Bare Bones Inc. Because we only invest in the bare bones, lol. Only what is required, and even then it still costs millions to start up a business...

I never got to experience those events :'(

 

I also missed the K-DST t-shirt, the Manhunt mask and the beer hats.

Good, but doesn't compare to doing Headhunter and Sightseer, profit wise.

 

Also, the T20 on last gen has the same price tag of the one in current gen, while being slower than a Zentorno on a track because there is no downforce multiplier on last gen.

 

Though I really miss those armored vans

What? For me it's 100k per plate through iFruit app. After that you can apply it to every car for free

And the race glitch still works, as does the daily objective glitch as far as I know so money and rank is unlimited and cars are free
