Is the halftrack worth?

Hi, as title says I would like to ask if this vehicle has any sort of use in this game.

 

I was planning to buy it when it eventually went on sale and now that it is, I'm undecided. Since I already have an apc and insurgent custom, does this thing offer anything? I would also like to know if you can get killed While on the gunner seat by esplosive.

If you have those other vehicles already, no. If you collect everything, yes.

Yes, you can be killed by an explosive if you're on the gunner seat.

 

The only advantage this has over the Insurgent Custom is the upgraded guns.

In my opinion, since you already have the Insurgent, it's not worth it. I would personally prefer an Insurgent over the half-track.

Thanks for answering . One last question: canthe gunner die if you place a mine while being still or if a player puts one on the ground and you cross it?

Just tested it out, for anyone who was interested in that, yes the gunner dies if you go over a proximity mine
