Can we talk about the Ultralight?

I have a fully upgraded Ultralight. What is it good for? Got any suggestions or stories? I like the idea of going Off Radar with it. I can't call it in next to me though without starting a mission or whatever. It seems a really fun toy but...

I use it for doing 'fortified', really quick take off from the boxville* then 10 mins of total relaxation for 35k, can't beat it. Best aircraft so far in this update imo.

* make sure you start the job out in the sticks somewhere like Harmony, city takeoffs can be a bit frantic.

It's good for piracy prevention because it is quiet and glides when the engine is switched off. I go OTR then skydive down to the PP yacht. The other plus is that it tends to circle for a while on its own before crashing, so PP players don't notice that an aircraft has come down nearby.

The gun is horrible to use, but a sticky on each wingtip works fine

 

It's also the fastest vehicle in the game by a long way, above the clouds, but this can be a bit tricky to get working in my experience.

 

Mostly though I'm just flying around with my smoke trail on, buzzing ground players. Shame the prop's on the back

And you can even say the truth and tell them where you are on the map, they'll still be spamming the chat with insults regarding how a dirty little modder you are
