Hell no. The game goes to sh*t once the session have more than 20 people ... Especially if explosions are involved.

Double edge sword, yes because more action means more fun. But no would be reasons already listed above, and with the CEO,MC sh*t being part of public only, forget it. But maybe they can do both options, one being standard 30 player gta lobbies, and a 64 man lobby, but the servers are sh*t anyways so I doubt that.

Probably not due to limitations on the consoles. Maybe if there are PS4 Pro/Xbox One X lobbies?? I figure there is also a reason they capped PC at (30)? IDK man...

IMO there could of been a increase still, but less. Just shoot for 20 player spots and 2 spectators spots, or 10 less than we have now. Could easily solve a lot of RAM issues.

More active lobbies more chaos. I'd be up for that when in the mood.

 

But the other 99% of the time I like solitude. My friends and I almost exclusively ran in invite only lobbies up until the public only crap came out so increased lobby size would be counter productive for my reasons.

Like when I am trying to do the the coke biz, and I am in that slow ass weaponless helicopter, and I just get blown out of the sky.

 

Too many players just make things to difficult and not so much fun.

f*ck no 30 is to high already. The map is to small should be 20 max. It appears rockstar didn't predict all the free mode jobs that would be available when they produced current gen. Updates.

That'd be the only way I'd be okay with bigger lobbies.

Only players are permanently off radar no matter how big.

 

It'd finally give Reveal Players a purpose, just hopefully FINALLY putting a cooldown on it so tryhards can't spam

If it would not cause lag or other issues then I dont see why not.

Its rare to actually find a packed lobby on ps4. Even when it says the lobby is full it never really is.

You have a few in the city, a few up north and the rest are in their homes, in passive or in jobs.

On ps3 you will still find packed lobbies with 16 players actually on the map and mostly all in the city.

Most sessions I come across aren't at capacity anyway, so where is the logic in increasing them further?

 

I like having areas of the map where I can take a break from the chaos, less chance of that with more players.

 

More players = more chance that all CEO & MC spots will be taken up & more frequent VIP work and challenges going on, reducing the chances for me to run my own & reducing the number of online events.

 

As someone else said, I would rather the player number was reduced & a bit more life was injected to the online world, with wildlife roaming around.

 

Playing story again on current gen, it always strikes me when I go to online, just how lifeless it is in comparison.

 

So no, increasing the player numbers in sessions is a terrible idea IMO.

Not that I don't want larger lobbies eventually, but this game struggles more often then not with a full(ish) session as it is...

 

Saw another say they'd rather go back to 16 people so as to get animals/wildlife online... Again, something I'd love, but that's a huge part of RDR2's appeal, for me at least, HUNTING!!!...

 

One day, just not yet on either... Next time maybe, depends though, if RDR does well again, then another one of them might come one day, then they could wanna leave certain things on each franchise away from the other so as to have different appeals.

Rather have old school 16 player lobby while using additional resources to implement wildlife.

Pretty much think thread should be closed now.

 

if there are non pvp/weapons free lobbies

if there were friendly lobbies or PvE lobbies then yes
