It's not tied to any content, technically they can release it whenever they want. It would be different if it was like the other aircrafts tied to smugglers run but it isn't.

Some cant tell the difference between a Lazer and Hydra. I've heard on the game chat people calling aircraft the wrong name lol. Some idiots will probably call the Hunter a Savage.
