Unable to play in public lobbies

I've been playing GTA V Online since day 1 on XBOX 360/XBOX One and have noticed since the gun runners update and continuing through to latest update i will be playing and get the following issue like in the video

 

And since the latest update update came out I've been getting the message 'Saving Failed - unable to connect to rockstar game services' while in a public lobby. I am able to play other games online (The Division, Destiny 2, Ghost Recon) and so on online without issues. Is it me or are Rockstar services become even more sh*t

I've had this twice recently after playing the story mode (PC).

 

For me, it was a corrupted save game that seemed to prevent any cloud-saving (since it syncs your single player save games too).

 

The first time, I deleted my save games and let game download them from my cloud saves. The second time, I went into Story Mode and saved over my most recent save game.

I heard that many people are having same issue on every platform (not sure about PS3 and xbox360).

Just gonna deal with, it's Rockstar.
