Can someone tell me if you can buy this tac-vest?

This is from the Mobile Operation #8 - Oppressor (Work Dispute) mission, and is the tactical vest you wear if you're wearing that cool tron-style helmet. Can someone tell me if you can buy it from the clothing shops? I can seem to find it, if it is indeed something you can buy? It's NOT the body armour the other guys wear. This tac-vest has those little pouches etc.

It's the vest from the ''El Jefe'' outfit, available to CEO's/VIPs under the outfits section in the interaction menu. It is not available in regular clothing stores. There used to be glitches that would let you save it as an outfit (and combine it with different clothing), so you could wear it even if you weren't a CEO/VIP. Rockstar however doesn't like it when you obtain outfits via glitches, so a lot of those are patched. I'm guessing though that there are still ways to get it. People can get pretty creative.

Not sure if you can get it as host, I was invited to the Oppressor mission and got it.

While in the mission open your Interaction menu, go to Inventory, Armour and go down to the visible Armour option and hit Left on D-Pad once and close Interaction menu and finish the mission. That's it, you'll spawn in after its done with the full outfit, go to a clothes store to save it.

Hey Fozzie, I think I'm doing it wrong? Either that or it's been patched. There wasn't an invisible armour option? There was 'none' but nothing invisible?

Not sure if they took the ability to flick between armor showing, but you can get it from other bodyguard/associate outfits as well:

 

There's also the black armor without the pouches over a the Yeti T-shirt. The armor covers the Yeti logo, so it just looks like a gray t-shirt.

I never said Invisible, I said visible.. Like the show Armour option.

Where you toggle through them to show the Armour on your character...

Get invited to the job, open your Interaction Menu while in the job, go to Inventory and go to the Armour option and down to the Show Armour or whatever it says. Just hit Left On D-pad once and close the Interaction menu and finish the job.

Unless you have a female character or its patched it should work.

When I get Online I will have a friend start it up and invite me so I can try it, but it worked as late as Friday night since I got it again for a 2nd outfit with the Black 'Nam helmet that came with Smugglers Run
