Idk how I feel about the dripfeed system. Technically we're not supposed to know about it and it should all come as a surprise. None of this new content is owed to us. Sure they could drop it all at once but then there would be nothing for 3 months. Players would buy up all the new toys play with them and be bored again in a couple weeks. Tons of players are still on old gen and haven't had any new content in ages. Its a sh*tty system but they are all about making money now. I tried other games, played uncharted for a while and it was the same sh*t if not worse with the micro transactions. The problem here is that you get the patch with the ability to fly the Hunter, Nokota etc in certain missions. Showing that they are fully operable and yet you have no idea how long you are going to have to wait for them. If they released a few vehicles every week i wouldn't find it too bad. But 1 vehicle/week (if they even manage that) is just not enough, especially since the patch happened 2 months ago and we have yet to see the Nokota and the Hunter. (which are the vehicles i'm most interested in), for all we know we may have to wait another month before we finally get them. Well my genre is racing games and they have been a tad short over the last 18 months or so. I bought GTA V as recommended by a friend and have played it till now just over a year, It filled a stop gap and was my first entry to GTA unfortunately the way R* treats the core base of players is disgusting to say the least IE wiping genuine accounts prior to new DLC stuff trying to force players down that ludicrous shark card alley and this pathetic drip feed. I wont ever buy another one of there games and as the 2 games i've been longing for have arrived these past few days I wont be looking at GTA for the foreseeable future. I do live under a rock. 2: Given each year's degradation of new content and Rockstar's recent track record, the possibility of the Lazer and/or Hunter being the Christmas "surprise" vehicle(s) is too good to pass up for the devs. A lot less work on their part, and a (mostly) docile community come December. They're only pandering to "hardcore" fans at this point. Mainly people who are die-hard PvP, people who dress up in dated outfits of the Joker, and people who only need one or two simple things to be kept happy (i.e. a Helicopter, or a fun new way to grief). I feel as though the Rapid GT Classic was the last great and truly well-modeled and detailed vehicle that we are going to get. And I would not be unhappy if I was proven wrong.
