If it wasn't for this thread I would of never knew the thermal vision works. Not sure why but you can't activate the helmet while wearing it with some of the new pilot outfits.

On a side note, KD literally means nothing now. Wallhack IE THERMAL, basically is cheating even if its a "legal version of it. I thought kd meant nothing in gta before anyway, but meh w/e now its a fact NO ONE CAN DENY.

no you still need to be in reg view, cant activate/deactivate while zoomed. at least not for me.

You can deactivate a couple ways.

1. The long way. Open your interaction menu and go to style. Make sure your visor is down and then go to accessories. Scroll to the helmet with the quad lens and activate the thermal.

2. The easy way. Save it as an outfit with the visor down and thermal activated. This way you can just switch back to the outfit you saved after exiting an aircraft (since entering an aircraft "removes" your helmet).

Overall, I'm a little peeved that I spent money on the thermal scope for my HS, but there's enough downside to using thermal so that it's not OP. At least, IMO.

I have saved the outfit with goggle down and activated, but whenever I select the outfit, it still gets flip up and thermal deactivated.

>Makes the player try his/her luck with the f*cking paywall to get the thermal scope

>Allows any motherf*cker to buy a helmet with thermal goggles instantly to be used with any weapon

Still can't compete to thermalscope, coz you can't turn it on\off instantly, also it's glitchy AF for me, sometimes it completly ignores hotkey. Assuming every second tryhard on PC uses ESP (aka wallhack), that's a nice addition, that can be useful sometimes.

Executive Search btfo

You can't farm kills with it anymore, still possible to survive the job if doing NPC roleplay.

Yeah, it started failing for me last night with this method, too.

Or just put the goggles down, turn on the thermal in the menu, then simply hold Right on Dpad to raise or lower your visor, turning them on and off lol. Edited by AH-6_BirdTurd
