Hangar Capacity is 20... Since I see many asking in several posts...

Here are a the answers for how many aircraft you can put in a hangar and a couple of other answers to things people keep asking....

 

You may bring Pegasus vehicles into your hangar and make them personal vehicles and you will still have the Pegasus version.

 

You may call the same Pegasus vehicle multiple times and place it in the hangar multiple times in case you want a different color Hydra for each day of the week??? Yep!!!

 

If you accidentally land in front of the hangar and it pulls a Pegasus vehicle into the hangar, that you did not want in the hangar, there is a remove option that clears it from the hangar without affecting your other personal vehicles or Pegasus vehicles.

 

 

 

 

You can store a maximum of 20 aircraft in the hangar...

In the hangar, the maximum that can be visible at one time is 12, but, it will allow you to "store" a maximum of 20 (regardless of size). The number of visible aircraft that are on display varies based on the size of the aircraft and what you have chosen to have visible in the front of the hangar or what aircraft you have decided to store in the rear of the hangar (stored aircraft are not visible in the hangar).

That can be like at the beginning of the video where all 20 of the aircraft are all in storage and none on display in the hangar.

Or you can have up to 12 "small" aircraft displayed in the front of the hangar and up to 8 aircraft in the rear storage (not visible).

You may display up to, but, no more than 5 "medium" aircraft and fill in around them with up to 5 additional "small" aircraft for 10 total visible aircraft on display and that would leave room for up to 10 aircraft in storage (any size, not visible).

I do not own a Titan and since the Bombuschka (AN-22) is not out yet, these will most likely be "large" size aircraft and the hangar will allow only two "large" aircraft to be displayed in the hangar... I am not sure exactly how they will change the number of aircraft that may be visible on display in the hangar. But, I think they will take up the space of 3 or 4 other aircraft. When the Bombuscka (AN-22) is released, I will buy one and at that time can learn how its size plays into the displaying of aircraft in a hangar.

Pretty sure it's the Maze Foreclosures site which states 20 vehicles can be stored anyway. I certainly read it somewhere before people discovered it.

Yes I remember reading the number 20 some place, but it must have been a blog or forum as it never appeared when I was setting up the hangar on a secone and third character... ???, so, many people are asking how many, how to get rid of aircraft accidentally put in the hangar etc... normal forum post questions for those who don't read the game blogs or forums... that is why I have posted a fact topic and not a question...

So, if I have a Swift Deluxe in the hangar, and then I want to remove it from there because I run out of space, I'll still have it on the Pegasus list, right?

Yes.

 

You can also put as many of the same pegasus vehicle in your hangar as you like. I have two hydras in there (second was an accident), I could put 20 in and have the whole colour range from the rainbow.

Also, if you happen to be someone who was duping and selling cars and you're on a daily sell limit (not me ) removing a Pegasus vehicle from your hanger counts as a sell. People have hit their limit unexpectedly while just removing a plane from their hanger.

If you happen to have a Miljet, that's considered "Large" too.

 

Can't check the floor space requirement at the moment though.

Anybody got an idea how i can get the storage list into a specific order?

I have multiple aircraft of the same modell and all are displayed with the same name, (i have 3 swift helis (2 regular and 1 flying bravo) and all three are called swift) so finding one specific is impossible.

Hopefully we'll get the option to buy an additional hanger but seeing as there is only 5 available they will have to think about releasing a large multi-floor hanger with elevators that bring your chosen aircraft to the runway

The fact that we can only store 20 Aircraft's sucks. I'm already running out of garage space, now I have another thing to worry about.

Milljet is the only Large plane other than the Titan and Bombushka, I own one and did store it to paint and check, but removed it after i saw that as soon as all the drip-feed vehicles release i won't have any space to store some of them. Also the Nimbus is Medium and all the other Luxor variants probably the same since they're all the same size.

The start up screens, websites and email messages in GTA never say anything about a specific number of aircraft that can be stored. I have gone through it 3 times now on 3 different characters and even recorded two of them... no mention of a number...?

 

What Ron says is "we got plenty of room, I think we can probably take all the planes we need. But, then I have never had more than one"... He never says how many or all the planes we want...

 

 

 

Too bad, because the DLC is bringing us no less than 16 aircraft (including the Cuban 800 bomber & Lazer) add to that your Hydra, Buzzard, Savage, Valkrie, Titan, Besra, Miljet ... etc, etc, etc... we don't come close to being able to fit just all the "military style" aircraft in the hangar, much less all the civilian ones too... I count about 45 we will be able to own... and a few more we may not be able to own... here is a list ...

Maybe we should petition Rockstar for more hangar space? Maybe use some of the "unused" doors in the hangar to add more storage or expand floor space?

Is there anyway to remove Aircraft, without using the "Remove" Option to get rid of them from the Hanger? I Tried an Experiment earlier by filling up my unused Slots in the Hanger with Hydras (I know ... Very Dumb Move). I have a daily sale limit(been like that for awhile), now I cant remove any of them... Is there a way to maybe get them Impounded by the police or destroy them by letting them stack up at MMI by not claiming them?

I think removing them is the only option, unless you can buy another aircraft and it gives you the option to replace?
