I'm mad af right now

I'm getting seriously annoyed at some of these missions now. Some of them are really easy, and a couple I actually enjoy doing.

 

But I'm getting mad at stupidly overpowered enemies who magically snipe me out of a Hunter from a huge distance during a sale mission, and then cause me to lose all my cargo because the Hunter careened into the ocean.

And then, during another sale mission, the delivery vehicle spawned UPSIDE DOWN and exploded the second I tried to get into it, instantly losing me a load of cargo too.

 

And then there's the 'Escort the Titan' mission. The thing flies slower than a Savage idling (I tested). My Savage then gets sniped by NPC Buzzards whose guns apparently can rotate on a turret or something, so I get force-respawned in a Mogul INSIDE the Titan. Obviously, I instantly explode and the Titan is left on very little health. However, I think I've still got a chance as the Titan should have enough health to last if I can just get back in the air. Call personal aircraft. Doesn't show up and just gives me a 4 minute cooldown. Call CEO vehicles. Can't use those either. Call my car, finally shows up. Chase after Titan. 234m out from the drop zone, it dies. Mission failed. 17 wasted minutes.

 

Maybe I'm just being salty, but these stupid things are really irritating me.

Anyone else had problems like this?

And then there's the 'Escort the Titan' mission. The thing flies slower than a Savage idling (I tested). My Savage then gets sniped by NPC Buzzards whose guns apparently can rotate on a turret or something, so I get force-respawned in a Mogul INSIDE the Titan. I did this one this morning and destroyed 35 Buzzards before the Titan arrived alive.

I remember someone here saying to kill one Buzzard and keep the other, after getting this mission and doing so I can say that this worked for me.

38 here, and 6 out of frustration on the way home, I think. Third time playing the mission, first time with the Savage.

 

If I learned anything from these, it'll be not to shoot every enemy.

Seriously, the first time I was solo with the Mogul, not knowing how it works and managed to wreck 2 Buzzards or so. Color me surprised as I noticed the Titan arriving at the drop-off without much damage.

Maybe some stray bullets from the Savage's cannon hit the Titan, but shooting every Buzzard did seem to result in severe damage of the Titan.

 

Next time I'll shoot one and teabag the other one in the meantime.

I got a few hits, but I was also putting myself between the Buzzard and Titan. A collision will do more damage to your aircraft then the gunfire from the Buzzard

That defend the Titan is BS, I can follow it in hover mode in a Hydra and I'll can still pass it. It's been my experience so far that if you shoot one and leave the other, the Titan has plenty of health to get to the end and a second Buzzard has not respawned on me doing that.

Yeah I didn't get in front of the buzzards. Shot them from the side or from behind.

What you can do is shoot the tailblade of the buzzards. Then it slowly circles down till it's destroyed.

In that way you get far less than the 35 ;-)

What you can do is shoot the tailblade of the buzzards. Then it slowly circles down till it's destroyed.

Explosive rounds aren't that precise. It's basically BBBRRRRRRRRRR-KABOOM!

Next time I'm just turning the guns on the Titan and ending it quickly.
