Will R* Add the Aircraft Carrier in with unreleased smugglers vehicles or at some point

I would love a personal AC. It'll be extremely fun (probably not knowing R*). I'd get one if I can have my personal planes on it.

I was talking about this the other day... it might be possible for spawning it to be I implemented in a similar way to the yacht, however vehicles are stored externally so the may be issues with players each having 5 or so personal vehicles on display in the gaming environment as opposed to 'off the map' like they are in a hangar or garage.

 

Imagine the price too!!!

Highly doubt it, GTAs technique of creating rabbit holes for individual players will not work with aircraft carrer

 

If they were to do it would be a new version of yacht, which I doubt would happen as I am sure Rockstar know how highly we regard those over priced boats....

the carrier is already in the game, same as it was with the yatch. could be hell if each player could have 2 of them spawned in the map.. but its not impossible

No, for the love of God no. It makes zero sense for us to own an Aircraft Carrier on like every level.

 

Why do people keep bringing it up!?

 

It's not a thing and never will be, but I can see it being used as a set-piece for missions in free roam but nothing more.

Actually makes more sense to own an AC than a hangar in a freaking military base, but whatever.

 

With the inclusion of the hangars, ACs are kinda unnecessary from now on. Maybe as a garage for watercraft&2nd garage for aircraft, but I don't see them caring about this.

No.

 

If it ever makes its way into freemode it will be the new Fort Zancudo. It'll have one set location, it'll be heavily guarded by NPC's and you'll gain 4 star wanted level when entering the airspace. As fun as that could be, it hasn't been added for a reason. What that reason is, I don't know, but it probably has more to do with game stability than it does a lack of desire on Rockstar's end.

 

In summary...no Aircraft Carriers in any way in freemode...not as a semi-map expansion and certainly not as a personal property.

Says who? Why should I give up my $12m yacht so I can have an AC? Based on other trade ins in game we would get 50% back for swapping it for an AC, I doubt many would be happy losing $6m

I suggest R* to make it appear in free roam, get 4 stars when you reach it, to be part of the pirate DLC.

I mean, since it exists already in the game files and since we are already able to buy bunkers that appeared in the game map recently, to own a place in a military base and so on, there is no limit to what is plausible or not.

 

But I don't think it will be purchasable, if it arrives it will be an mission-locked asset like the yacht at Paleto Bay. Get to close outside the mission and you'll be teleported away.

Ha! We run four Xbox and four TVs parking 4 yachts just off shore Zancudo, two bunkers & 2 hangers. I assure they work into excellent strategy.
